I was fortunate enough to be put into contact with April Anderson a couple of months ago concerning the repairs and sale of a house in Mesa, AZ.

We could not be more pleased with the work April and Kris did for us in selling our house! We had originally planned to rent our house out when we moved out of the QC area, but then decided to sell while already out of state. When I researched agents (based mostly on reviews), I had it down to April and one other. I asked April about the other agent and she had only positive things to say about them - didn’t bad mouth them, just said what she thought the other agent was good at and what she was good it and would bring to the table as our agent. When we talked about listing price too, April gave a straight answer - didn’t try to win my business by telling me we could get an unrealistic price. And she was spot on - what she recommended was exactly what the house sold for (which was in fact more than the other agents said it would sell for), with multiple offers coming in the first weekend. All of our stuff was moved out so April did an amazing job with the staging (and which was included in her costs! Every other agent I talked to charged additional fees for it). There were even several items around the house that needed to be done before listing and then after inspection, and April talked them through with us and found either free or inexpensive solutions (she’s very well connected with tradesmen in the area - for instance there were two cracked roof tiles and most roofing companies have minimums for replacing them, and can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars but she knew a guy who replaced them for $100. Also the master shower wasn’t draining so she used a coat hanger and draino and cleaned it out herself!).

A big item for us was that they communicated well, especially as we were out of state by the time all of this was happening. This meant both that they were available when we had questions (which can simply mean telling me they’re in a meeting but will call me back in 20 minutes) AND proactively sharing information so we know where we are in the process.

April was a pleasure to work with, was completely devoted to doing every part of the selling process as thoughtfully as possible, clearly knows the business and the local east valley market, and will give you honest and insightful answers about every stage of the house selling process. You won’t regret choosing her and her team!
