I was in such a double jeopardy after another CPA promised the moon and didnt' know M2M and extended me and then failed me AT THE END OF THE EXTENSION... jeopardising my company and me personally. Guess who stepped up!? TRADER'S ACCOUNTING! you want to play games fine, but if you want serious competent grace-under-pressure help, Raven and crew are what you need. THANK YOU ALL.

Busy, busy, busy. No time for this but will leave this as a warning for the next person.

Here's my experience.

Because of a delay with one of my brokers I contacted Krystal to do my taxes on 3/17. All she told me via email is the price, nothing was mentioned about a deadline to send over my tax papers. You will see why this matters later.

Then I was sent letter of engagement, I went through it, filled it out and send it over. Then I was informed by Shannon that my taxes cannot be filed before 4/18 as they don't have the capacity but they can file for an extension. But if I owed anything it had to be paid before 4/18. So I asked if I can send them my tax papers so they can tell me if I owe anything. Answer was that I was informed on the phone by Krystal about this. I am interested how the lady(Shannon) knew what Krystal and I spoke about because that was not mentioned by Krystal.

"When you spoke to Krystal when signing up, she did inform you that we would file a zero tax due or you could tell us what you wanted to pay."

I am sorry Shannon, I only emailed Krystal and I don't see this in our conversation, perhaps you have some hidden proof that I do not?

Anyhow Shannon being rather cold told me they will go ahead and file for a zero extension.

At this point going back and forth I decided to call and ask for a refund. I was informed there's a HUNDRED dollar non-refundable fee, I was told it's for the preparation of the Letter of Engagement. Okay I wish I was paid $100 to send a generic email with a generic attached file.

I felt like my business was handled unprofessionally and with an attitude(thanks Shannon). Definitely not what one would expect for $750.

Nowhere in the letter of engagement or the other attached documents did I see that I had to send over my tax papers by 3/17 to Traders Accounting. But somehow I was informed about this. Definitely a memorable experience.

March 9, 2024: Have been calling and emailing for 2 weeks now and no response... Paid for tax preparation in advance but now I may need to find another CPA...
Update on March 11: received a call from them. They stated they are committed to file for an extension. Changing the rating. Will update the review once the extension is filed.
Update on March 18: tax returns have been filed!

SCAM! beware, they are pathological liars, and simply put a mere scamming company. they will charge you upfront (because they know they are not providing any service), and they say your documents were reviewed by a tax professional (no, they don't have a tax professional). See details below...

(UPDATE 4/19/2024) This is what happened:

Aside from the fact that Traders Accounting falsely advertises on their website “15-minutes free consultation”, lets also ignore what they told me on the phone, that they needed my credit card number on file before any service. They did not provide any service, whether phone consultation or tax review whatsoever, before charging my credit card on January 17, 2024. They charged my credit card one day after I called them on January 17th, but they sent me a two-sentence email, which they call a "tax review", on January 25th. They charged my credit card on 01/17/2024 without my authorization.

A person named Raven Johnson stated that I purchased the tax review on January 17, 2024. First of all, where is the invoice or any receipt or payment confirmation for this purchase if I authorized it? Second, let’s assume that I purchased a tax review package from the firm. I have not received a review from any CPA working at Traders Accounting yet. All I received was two sentences sent from Raven Johnson, who is not a CPA according to his own account.

In particular, there are two things that are problematic with the service they call “tax review by a licensed CPA”:
I. There is no review; where are the calculations? Based on what tax code or regulation did they come up with the two sentences?
II. Who is the CPA that wrote the brief report? If this is a tax review service, I have the right to know the name of the CPA who supposedly reviewed my tax return. And the CPA has to give me a response in an official letter so that I can hold him accountable.
