Jo Hurst, realtor with Long did not comply with code of ethics. She did not disclose so much information relating to the property history, ie: flood of 2021, false information disclosed by the seller, false information regarding our property lines making our home loose our privacy and safety not knowing our house had a common area along the side of the house allowing anyone walking through it at any time.
She also stated once the contract is signed we could not break the agreement. Wrong! Bottom line…. We trusted her to help us make the right decisions but did not watch our back and if I didn’t know any better she was protecting the seller!!!! I would’ve never purchased this house knowing all the history and deceit given to us resulting in $50,000 invested so far. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!
Thus review is not specifically criticizing Long Realty but needs to know what kind of agent they have working for them.
DO NOT HAVE JO HURST WORK WITH YOU. She will sell you out for the commission!!!

This review is for Green Valley Rentals- Rex Rogers and employees. I can't praise them enough. When my husband and I moved to AZ for his health, we leased a home with them. Throughout my husband's long battle with cancer, Rex was always there for us. If there was an issue with our rental, it was immediately taken care of- I didn't have to ask twice. After my husband passed, my daughter and I moved back East around family which didn't feel like home to us anymore. So, we contacted Rex to see what was available in Green Valley and he worked with us to secure a new home. I don't agree with these negative reviews regarding this property management. Rex and Co. have been nothing but professional and helpful in every way. Rex is fair and unbiased- there should be more like him. I highly recommend them for your rental needs.

I do not recommend Stacey Bell or Long Realty. First, Long’s goal is 7%-10% commission. Second, you will pay a mandatory $250 fee on each contract for some sort of “coverage.” When I asked to have this Long attorney protection “coverage” in writing she said it isn’t in writing. Three yrs experience yet I had to call her broker and have her tell Stacey to ask for a pre-possession! A constant struggle with her trying to communicate with my buyer. It felt as if she was always working for my buyer!! Her name “Stress free” -definitely a misnomer & false advertising. The best part of the deal was her boyfriend taking the great listing pictures. Period. Oddly, she repeatedly suggested closing before 11/3 ~election day. Upon inquiring she said it was because of the “rioting and people will stop working.” In Green Valley? With their walkers & golf carts? Perhaps there was a sales contest in October? The lender previously said closing prior to 11/10 was not an option. I did not even get a form thank you letter from her for letting her sell my home & buy my new home~ the epitome of unprofessionalism. I definitely regret contracting her as my real estate agent and wish I had stayed with the seasoned, classy, well known realtor in town I bought my last home with.

Do not use this property management company. Not trustworthy, Rex and staff do not return calls or emails in a timely fashion. The home we bought had a contract all ready in place for the season so we had no choice. Their house cleaning person did a horrible job, charged 15 dollars for 2 rolls to TP and one roll of paper towels that were never put in the house, plus a 30 dollar up charge that still will not be explained.195 dollars was the charge, and i had to clean counters and wood floors after she was done. She broke a wall mounted picture and hid it in a closet. I specifically stayed in town in a hotel so I could see what kind of service I was getting. I had to run get it fixed with new glass before the tenant arrived and I left town the next day. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a property management company to shop around and do not use these people. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing.

Rented end of March, paid cleaning deposit for when I move out, but it wasn't cleaned when I moved in. I did the walk through and sent in a list of things that needed fixed. The owner came in to see what he could fix on his own, took the handle off of my sliding glass door and has never been back (that was about a month ago). The light in my bedroom doesn't work (never has) and to top it all off, the washer broke almost 3 weeks ago, took them over a week to get someone in to look at it, said they needed to order a part, haven't heard anything since (this was a week and a half ago). I called Jo in maintenance and she had no clue. My experience thus far: Should have rented from someone else.

Was watching my girlfriend go thru this .......

1.High pressure to sign lease before seeing the place
2.Agent set the time to see it but didn't show or respond to a call during the set time table or call to say she was delayed.
3.Contract calls for utilities to be turned on 5 days prior to getting the key so they could bill cleaning usage to new tenant.

While the place was nice....
Currently would recommend not using this company unless all else fails.

This was the selling agent deal of the property we bought and they belittled us and made promises that were never completed or done. Our agent contacted then for damage that was done while the owner moved out and Karen made the comment that we should know better because this house was not brand new. The house was also disgusting as there was stuck on food in the pantry, dirty toilets with urine on the seats, crumbs in the drawers, and hair in the bathroom drawers... Luckily our real estate agent on the other end hired a cleaner to go in. I know that this is not all the case with sellers from the real estate agents because when we sold our house our agent even made sure missed spots like behind the refrigerator were clean for the new owners. We also did not want some of the items left in and outside of the house and this was made clear to the agent... We found some of the unwanted items thrown into the plants as cover up. When I buy property in the future I will make sure that this is not the realtor selling the property since we were the unfortunate buyers who should know better because this was not a brand new home... Wow! Thanks Karen!

Our experience with Green Valley Rentals has been nothing but positive.

We purchased our property in March 2012 and put it in their hands at that time. As property managers they have been responsive to our every need. When we've requested a repair or service it has been done quickly and at either a very reasonable charge or no charge at all. My impression is that they will do anything to satisfy their property owners.

I will revise my review to "Excellent" if they find renters for our property for the months of Jan, Feb, and March 2013. Currently it looks as though they have it rented for Feb and March, but I will withhold review revision until the funds are deposited in my account.
