“Lucas Mijares has been our financial advisor for several years now since our previous advisor retired. He and Ariel in the front office are a powerful team. They have helped us consolidate our finances where it made sense. Lucas also reviews our non-Edward Jones accounts periodically to keep us on track never pressuring to consolidate as it wouldn't make sense right now. I firmly believe he takes his fiduciary duties to his clients to the highest level. If you are looking for a financial advisory team to support you for the long-term, you couldn't do better than Lucas.”

Since that time, Lucas has expanded his knowledge and expertise, while never lessening in his passion and his unwavering commitment to his fiduciary duty to his clients. Perhaps the greatest part of that commitment is his concern for knowing us, not only our financial goals, but on a personal level also. He learns what we value and acts accordingly in his advice. Lucas was there for us during sad times of family deaths and happy times of retirement. His and Ariel’s assistance through all life’s events over the years has been a blessing and a comfort, as we had someone to turn to for advice, guidance, and a genuine concern for us.

As Lucas has expanded his education in all things financial, earning many certificates and recognitions along the way, he and his partner at Zion Capital, Jesse Ettlin, realized that there were so many options for their clients that they were not able to offer because of the constraints of working for one of the big financial investment firms. From that knowledge of where they were limited in providing the best fiduciary service to their clients, Zion Capital was born, bringing two great minds and quite probably the best support staff in the country to fruition.

I am happy to report that Ariel came with Lucas as part of the team to start Zion Capital. What a great testament to Lucas and Ariel (also Jesse, Brittney, and Veronica) that they walked away from secure jobs with years of service to open a wealth management firm of their own, so that they could honestly say they were able to offer the very best to their clients.

Just wanted to say a few things about this company. I’ve never before had the reason to have a “money guy”, and now that I do, I’m really glad it’s Lucas and the gang at Zion. When the choice came to leave my money where it was, or go with Lucas to Zion, to me it was a no-brainer to stick with him. In these times of economic uncertainty, I feel better knowing the folks at Zion have my back, so I don’t have to stress about my retirement savings. My vote? A big thumbs-up for Zion Capital.
