I have an account from an out of state credit union in the co-op, and I went to get a cashier's check that I very desperately needed for a deposit on an apartment. The teller that I interacted with told me that the bank did not issue cashier's checks to people with outside accounts. I asked if he was sure, because he seemed very young. He said that he was sorry and there was nothing that he could do, but he said it in a very "I'm not actually sorry" way, like he was getting pleasure from my desperation. No explanation. What he didn't tell me, that I found out from googling, was that I could just open an account, transfer my money over, and then get a cashier's check, or just withdraw the money and buy a cashier's check from any bank. Pretty bad service. It led to me having to take the day off Monday, be on the phone with my bank for hours running around trying to find a bank that was willing to do what I needed. I hope you learn more about banking and to be more compassionate with people who really need your help.

I cannot even begin to explain what awful customer service this bank offers. It’s shockingly bad and I’m an Advantage member, which is one of the highest level members. And you have to use customer service constantly, because their tech is so bad you cannot accomplish simple tasks online

Terrible experience. I sent them my paystub for income verification for their services and they said it was fraudulent and called me a criminal. As a UCLA alumni, I'm absolutely ashamed that this credit union is associated with the school. Turn your business elsewhere.
