I want to start this out by saying that Dr. Lile is an incredible doctor and I hope he ends up working for a better office. My 1 star is given for the following reasons.. I had a very negative experience over the phone when I was requesting to see a specialist which was strongly advised from my mother's doctor due to a cancer diagnosis that is genetic and which I have had symptoms occurring that would be cause for concern. The office staff on multiple occasions has been rude and disrespectful either via phone call or when showing up to an appointment. They have a 2.5 star for a reason and I discovered that when dealing with the front end with their extremely unprofessionalism and short attitude. They have zero customer service whatsoever. I asked to speak with a manager and was told "no", followed by phone swapping me for 10 minutes and accusing me of being a female and a different person speaking on my behalf. I was obviously upset and annoyed on the phone with someone who gave me no more information other than telling me that my doctor wouldn't send me to a specialist to have an issue looked at. There was no follow up questions on why I was requesting this or anything else. It felt very cold and extraordinarily aggravating. Which brings me to the Amanda Macfie. When I had finally waited months to get in to see her, she was extremely rushed and short with me. I wanted her to look at my eyes as I had been having issues which she spent all of 30 seconds looking and then told me that I was fine, no tests, no anything. I could tell immediately that I was not an important patient to her and felt like I could not open up to her about my medical history or health. This was confirmed again when contacting the office about a recommendation - there was zero concern from the staff and it wasn't until I later called asking for a manager that they finally asked if I wanted to see Amanda again, which now I firmly do not. I still have not spoken to a manager at this facility and will not be attending anymore appointments with Dr. Mcacfie. Extremely insulating, unprofessional and inattentive front end and the little experience I've had with Amanda has been a massive let down, especially after waiting months to get in to see her. I do wish her and the staff that work there the best, but this review needed to be written.

Since my doctor retired. I've had no help. They only want to send you for tests at hosiptal to make them more money. I been going there for 30 yrs. Now I need to find a doctor. I think they have a very smart mouth working at front desk too. . Not friendly at all. Sit on phone. While we wait to be seated. When you holding on to counter so you don't fall. I've never seen this place go down like it has since so many retired and left us under a NP care. We not even know who the heck is our doctor now. Ok so then blood work. And all they do is want to send you to a specialist doctor. Well that's the best they can do. I'll search for a real doctor then. They quick to send you to get monogram s. While saying you need a kidney Dr. See they are only there to make the hosiptal they work for more money.
There is nothing but maybe one real doctor working there. I'm gone. And best to find a real doctor. This place us no good. Bunch of play dr folks. Oh and if I need a kidney Dr. Well how long do you think that will take. Same as the women's gyn place. They send you to cancer Dr. Well heck when did I get cancer. Really. So you'll find anyone who goes to Haywood reg hosiptal is going to get sicker. Now I know why people drive to Asheville or Harris because they all are want to be doctors this whole area is full of crap. Find you a real hosiptal and a dam real doctor.

I’ve been a patient for more than 15 years at Waynesville family practice. My doctor retired so I was assigned a new one. She informed me that she just didn’t know what I had so she would need to send me to a specialist. All I needed was someone to write a new prescription once a year for a life long condition that I have. A five minute search on google would have informed her of all the information she would’ve needed to make an educated decision. I wasn’t asking her to cure me or asking any type of information. I didn’t expect her to expand her education in any way. I just needed the same service I’ve received for more than the last 15 years. Doctors that I’ve had with them before have left and I’ve been assigned a new doctor without any disruption in my service. There’s a reason this place has such a low review score and I’ve found out that reason today. Plus it smells like a skunk is living under the building.

Last year I started seeing Allison at Waynesville Family Practice. She and all the staff have been kind and professional. Each time I've used the Patient Portal I have had quick responses back. I am delighted with the care I get.

I have copd and called the office for an appointment and was told to go to the hospital they couldn't help me.I have been going here for years and never had this happen before ask them to look at my medical history and follow what Judy Springfield had done for my treatment they refused. I have left this office and moved to Appalachian Primary care, this is a much better place so far and they have no affiliation with the hospital which makes your bill cheaper. I would run the other way from Waynesville Family they don't care about about your health it's about money.

I used Waynesville Practice for years. Dr. Judith Springfield was an amazing, kind and caring doctor. This practice sure is not what it used to be. The answering service is horrible. They have made me 3 appointments and when I showed up the front desk was not showing my appointments. But when something happens on my end then Amanda McFee boots me out. I guess I do not matter. I am suppose to forget their mistakes and accept their excuses but them not mine. Life throws us curves sometimes. I have also had several of my appointments cancelled because things came up for Amanda McFee but I did not throw her out. Boy talk about being fair. Nope not on there end. Waynesville Family Practice sure has osttheir

I have been a PT. here for about six years and I just reached out to a new physicians office to become a new patient. The quality of care has gone down since Judy Stringfield and her husband has retired. I was told by the ER, that I went to yesterday, to be seen ASAP by my primary care doctor. My original followup was scheduled a MONTH ago for February 11th. With how I've been feeling, I knew I couldn't make it that long, so I took off work today hoping under the circumstances they could squeeze me in. Instead I got a call from a lady named Wendy, who wasn't very professional and kind of a smartelic, that the scheduler messed up a month ago and they would have to push my appointment out further. I was literally in tears on the phone. Instead of owning it was their mistake and still honoring the 11th as an option, the lady had zero concern about me and my health. I thought this was very unethical. I can understand not being able to see me urgently, but the thing that made my decision to switch doctors was inability to make it right and make the 11th still a possibility. Dr. Judy NEVER would have let this happen. My parents have already switched before when they retired and I thought I would give them a chance, but I was shown after today that the patient does not matter. Would give zero stars if I could.

Long time patient over a decade. My primary care physician retired and was informed this morning that continuing care in the Waynesville office was no longer an option as all current providers not taking new patients. I will now begin the search for a new primary care physician.
