I have bought parents visitors coverage plan and unfortunately hit a small accident and I negotiated the best prices like without insurance and go the billing amount to around $747. Still they couldn't cover the claim. God forbid what happens if we end up in emergency. Lost all the trust on Visitors Coverage and never going to recommend to my friends and community. Making sure that this is known to all who reached out to me for recommendation.

Please don't go with Visitors Coverage and find another trusted vendor.

I thought my family was in good hands but they weren't. You can always count on plans like this having fine print so that your situation falls through the cracks. Today I find myself in nearly 30K of medical debt as all 8 of my claims and my appeal related to our medical event were denied.

In this case, my pregnant wife had a medical emergency while we were travelling in the United States. But guess what? Their plans have exemptions for covering medical events with pregnant women. It doesn't matter that when I took my wife to the ER that we had no clue if her medical emergency was related to pregnancy or not. All their system can register is that she's pregnant therefore she gets no coverage. Therefore, everything gets denied outright. No nuance. What a scam.

I would highly recommend you explore alternative options if you plan to travel to the United States.

Most unresponsive insurance company I've ever dealt with. They take your money easily but when it comes to having to make a claim- no response, even for a tiny $180 claim. 2 months trying. Going to the AG for help.

Takes long time to process the claim and finally closes the claim paying nothing. They closed all claims with no explanation and paying $0. Their website says to click on download EOB for explanation but there is no such button in the claim. I don’t recommend using this insurance for travel.
