I can't believe how easy and flawless the entire mortgage process was made by Patrick Hunt. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Mortgage. Everyone that I have dealt with at United Federal Credit Union is wonderful. They are friendly and happy to help me with all my banking needs

Previously held a mortgage with UFCU with no issues, so we chose them for a business money market account. Unfortunately, we were assigned to an employee at the H'ville South location who did not perform his job well. It took several weeks of back and forth to get the account open, then we found out months later he didn't set it up properly, which cost us monthly fees he said would be waived for 12 months. When I discovered this I called the bank for help. Over the course of 5 weeks, the manager acknowledged the account had not been set up correctly according to our needs. She corrected the account features, but declined to refund the $130 in fees. Finally, after so many issues and SO much time lost, I pushed back for our money by saying the bank needed to resolve these issues to avoid our departure as customers and a low review. I received a dressing-down from the manager, and she said they could not substantiate my claim, as the employee who set up the account is no longer employed by UFCU and did not make proper citations to have our fees waived. She said they were being generous in giving half of our fees back since they had a signed contract. I then called the UFCU main line, who said they would have a manager contact me, but I never heard back. I called a month later and another manager said there was nothing they could do. I was disappointed and surprised to be treated this way after all our trouble and time/money lost. I expected the bank to side with their customers instead of an employee who made mistakes, but the manager made it clear she did not care to retain us as customers. I do hate leaving a bad review, but these are the consequences to very poor customer service across the board.

Huge shout-out to Patrick Hunt with UFCU. He walked me through a plethora of options with loans and I knew that he was always thinking of my best interests and not his. He's phenomenal at his job and I can't recommend him enough.

Be warranted late payments on loans will be over 50% of your payment. I got buried faster than a payday loan here.

I am consistently impressed by the team here!! I have worked with the mortgage/loan officer, Patrick Hunt, the banking advisor, Kimberly Triana, the client manager, David Crow, and several customer service providers as well. I have been with a list of other banks in the past, and these people have gone out of their way to be personal, helpful, and kind. If you need ANYTHING finance related you need to give this team a try!! 5 Stars!!!

Love this credit union ever since switching from another one who got too big to know who you are. "United Federal Staff are the best and know who you are, give the best service, and are super friendly and knowledgeable. Their account benefits are the best. I would recommend them to everyone.

Love this new branch! It is open and inviting, with proper COVID precautions in place. The employees wear masks and hand sanitizer is readily available if you choose to conduct your business inside. The branch manager Todd Sharpe is pleasant enough but does not seem too well informed on some of the credit union policies regarding certain types of loans. We discussed a loan with him and were anticipating getting the loan, but three days later Todd called us and let us know the credit union does not make those type of loans anymore. This almost put us in a bind, so we actually went to another bank to get the loan we needed. Wish Todd would have told us this information up front. This is why I gave this branch only 4 stars. The other employees are so helpful and friendly and make it easy to do what you need either at the drive thru or inside the branch.
