This is a follow up to a previous review. I applied for a car loan with TruWest and never heard back. After reaching out they said I was denied. After looking at my credit report and my inquiries, I found out TruWest never even ran my credit! They just denied me for no reason!

Had an account with them for about a year and have never had a problem with them. Even when I go in for transfer support they have always been professional and courteous.

TruWest falsely accused me of my savings account being overdrawn of twenty bucks. When I didn't do a thing to this account. If fact they opened this account themselves when I obtained a car loan with them. What's going on with this crazy bank. I called them and they refused to fix the problem that they created. What the hell?

If I could give them less than one star I would.
I made payment by check over a month ago. They tried to run the check through twice. Of course my bank would accept it. The tried to charge me a fee for that. Then they had to cancel the entire transaction. And were to send me back my money. Which I'm still waiting for. I WILL AND WOULD NEVER USE TRUWEST FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE. AS THEY CAN NOT SO SIMPLE MATH!!!!!!!!

Awful experience with TruWest. Filled out a car loan application online, never heard back. Go in person a week later to inquire about it, they say they don't see an application. We filled another one out at their location. Still no email, text, or call to notify us about our loan application. Happy to be going elsewhere for my loan if this was my experience just applying.

No customer service it nights or in weekends. If you do get to speak to a agent during the week they do not know anything or cannot assist you. Still trying to get answers to my questions but it looks like I will have to drive to one of their only 6 branches in my state to see if my issues cam be resolved. Definitely a huge mistake joining this bank

Got an auto loan here back in July. Since they somehow screwed up the app and I can’t do it online(no one can figure it out!) I get charged $15 a month to pay it over phone! Said my account was gonna get credited and LIED!!!uPDATE: still screwed up start of February

I've never seen customer service this poor, let alone at a financial institution. I don't trust TruWest with a nickel of my money and I am closing all accounts at this "bank." I'm not in tears like the OP above, but I may as well be. I've been hung up on more times than I can count, especially if I ask to speak to a supervisor. I'm pretty sure it is standard practice to dump calls that ask to speak with a supervisor. Ive been trying for 3 days to speak with one. They cancelled my card permanently due to fraudulent activity without notifying me, but I didn't notice right away anyway since the card never works anywhere I go anyway. The TruWest app consistently has problems or is down for maintenance. I could go on for hours about the horrible service and incompetence at TruWest. Don't let them hold your money, you're better off keeping it under the mattress. Seriously, it's really really really bad. I can't stress it enough.
