I want to share my experience with TrueWest Credit Union. I came there on a Friday to start a business account, I had a document they wouldn't take, so Saturday I came back to open the account. Since it was a business account they told me it had to go to back office to be approved and at the latest I would hear from them by Tuesday. Well come Tuesday I called, they said they would call me back, come Wednesday called again to find out that they entered in my wrong date of birth, said they would fix it, they they called me back finally and said I had to come in and redo all paperwork. They would have never reached out to me, I have to keep calling them, the worst service I have ever experienced from a bank. I called Desert Financial Credit Union and they actually opened my account right then in there. I bank at Chase and Desert Financial and have never experienced service like this. I wouldn't invest my money at TrueWest simply because I don't think they will stay in business with the way they treat customers, or maybe they have enough money and don't care about new business.

Ashley has an attitude and bobs her head when talking condescendingly to an existing customer trying to pay a car loan. First time at this location. I come in to make a car payment with my card and loan/member id information. I had left my purse in my car, and had my two children with me. Before even asking me how I’m paying she tells me my payment cannot be accepted without ID. I explain I’ve never been asked for that to process a payment before and continues to cut me off and tell me it is needed and that the other branches didn’t follow procedure. The lack of consistency among branches isn’t my problem and I do not need the attitude from some employee having a bad day taking it out on me. To make matters and customer experience far worse when I come right back Ashley had closed her window and given my information to the next teller clearly not wanting to help me. The next customer comes in and she calls them over so clearly picking and choosing who to help and who to mistreat. So tellers the face of the branch get to treat customers like this as they please with no repercussions? If your customer service skills are lacking this badly by all means go to the back of the branch or do not work in retail where you cannot separate personal issues with professionalism. Terrible experience.

Financed my car; when I needed help and called crying they told me to basically get over it and that they had been through worse. I never missed a payment. I called a month before my payment was due, after paying early. (My engine died and I needed time to get the money for the replacement because I couldn't afford the fancy warranty). I then decided because I couldn't afford an engine, I couldn't afford to pay for a car that didn't run. I asked if they could just repo it then. They said they would review it and decide (because I wasn't late yet) && I said I would have the dealership park it in a spot that was easy to tow it out of and put a label on it to make it easy. That lady wad so upset with me for being responsible about my loss that she stated "we didn't force you to go to the dealership and buy the car, we just financed it, we don't have to take it back". Like ? What does that mean ? I asked so you're either gonna pick it up this month or in 3 mos then ? She was so mad at me she hung up. Like ? It wasn't an easy decision to walk away from my car. I've never walked away from a vehicle before. But I didn't have any other option. She went on about how she was gonna auction It for the most and said I ONLY OWE 23K. Like, that may seem small to some but 1k is like a million dollars to me right now. You don't have the right to judge anyone's financial picture.

This bank is horrible. Do not recommend.

Full time caretaker of my father. With PoA to handle his finances. And his healthcare decisions. There is a secondary account owner on his account whom also has PoA for both. Was contacted by an account representative. She talked directly with that person. They then contacted Arizona Adult Protective Services and had them do a welfare check. That is the most recent event. There were numerous other issues with this institution in the short time we have been members. Save yourself a huge hassle. I am reviewing this location as this is the location we started at.

I've always gotten great service when visiting this branch. They helped us reset our PIN on our debit card, we stopped many times for deposits and withdrawals and they have always been very courteous. The bank is very nice and clean and big bright windows and lights. It's a pleasure stopping in here.

I wish I could give 0 zero stars. One of the worst banking experiences I have ever had. The branch manager is extremely unprofessional, rude and really needs to not be in that position. Furthermore, the bank randomly shuts off your cards constantly with no 24/7 number so you have no access to your money. We will NEVER bank with them again! Just a heads up if you’re considering putting your money and trust in a bank, do NOT choose this one. Extremely disappointed.

The people in this branch are always very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I have banked at many other institutions over many years and this branch is among the very best. In the very few instances that I have had a problem or concern, it has always been resolved quickly and without stress. I would not bring my business to any other institution.

The service at TruWest has always been top notch. The ATM is easy to use, and inside service has been fabulous. I have been here many times for deposits, withdrawls, and to have documents notarized. Employees are very customer-oriented and always have time to answer questions. It really is a wonderful place to bank.
