My sister and I live out of state, and when our father passed away, Tom provided superb customer service handling life/property/vehicle insurance policies. Additionally, he went above and beyond by helping us to familiarize ourselves with local businesses and people he recommended for other needs in the Bakersfield area. He did not have to do this, but his help was crucial during a difficult time, especially as we had to handle most things remotely. His years of creating a personal relationship with our father made him want to help us, not just do so out of obligation. Highly recommend!

State Farm is a good company. They do costs more than other insurance companies. The service was solid although I did see a minor discrepancy in coverage from what was described to what it said in writing. A tip I learned is to take detailed notes when looking for insurance because often even after talking about coverage with an agent, mistakes can be made and if it's not in writing then you are not covered.
