Listen and believe the reviews about Luis. If you could make a drug that fixed anxiety, stress and depression and bottled it you'd end up with Luis. We went to him because until recently I had been doing taxes for me, my husband and kids but after the tax laws changed we were getting hammered. Luis has integrity and didn't try to have us claim our guinea pigs as dependents. Luis taught us things about how to claim on our W4 and other things we could do to make our tax situation better. Luis calmed us, in fact we were laughing at the end of our appointment and this is AFTER we found out we owed several thousand in taxes. We will definitely go back to him. Luis was efficient, ethical, educational and overall a great guy to work with. I was so impressed that I'm going to have him do my parents' taxes next year too. If you need a tax person just go here and save yourself some stress.

I usually work with Martha, but she wasn't in this tax season. I made an appointment with Luis and he lowkey gave me an attitude but in my head I was still like "okay, maybe it's because I missed my appointment and was trying to find parking at the rescheduled one. I lowkey get it." He brushed off my donation receipts from Goodwill, and his response to my reaction of owing money to the IRS was "you can just ask your dad to pay for it, haha."

His email response time is very long, which is quite frustrating. I had to reach out 3x in a span of two weeks.

My dad has now told me that he hasn't gone back to them because Luis refused to do his business taxes, but is open to doing his personal taxes. You're literally a tax place...

It's my first time paying taxes and I'm freaking out because I don't know how I'll be able to pay it. I'll figure it out, and not the point of the review. Still don't quite understand how I went from owing 450 to nearly 2,000 when I don't even earn that in a check.

My parents do their taxes here, and I do too now, I had some concerns that I needed help on. He was very nice and happy to help me, even if passing a deadline was kinda my fault (I’ve been trying to keep up with my school deadlines) Also explained what I needed to keep an eye out for in the following weeks/years as I learn to adult on my own, lol.

Third year in a row coming here. Love this place it's nestled in a gorgeous friendly little neighborhood in Pt. Richmond. I've had the pleasure of completing my paperwork with both Luis Garcia & Martha Gallo. I've referred co - workers and they always rave about their experience. Check this place out - BTW they have the most chic modern vibe on the block. Oh and after you finished your taxes check out one of the cute little restaurants in the neighborhood.
