I have been going to Kington group for our taxes for over 20 years. And my parents for over 30 years. I started with Ron & now with Ronalee. Both have always been great to my husband and I. My Sister and Brother in Law also go to Kington for their taxes.

DO NOT SCHEDULE/WORK WITH RONALEE. I’ve had family members referred to this place after I recommended them the Kington group. Unfortunately they were scheduled to speak and work with Ronalee. One of the worst individuals I’ve ever met and did not care to hear what questions you may have had. Completely incompetent and rude and it shows because she is one to talk down on you. I’ve had Lance prepare my taxes for years, never would I have imagined anyone working in that office to come off as vile and nasty as this Ronalee person. My family will be looking for another tax preparer.

We have been coming to Ron for about 15 years. We moved to Arizona and we still make that special trip to see him. He is the best! I would recommend Ron to anyone. My children now get there taxes done with Ron too.

I had a bad experience here. They were rude and incompetent and ultimately unable to complete my tax return. For starters, when I set up my appointment I told them I bought an electric car this year which entitles me to a large federal tax credit ($7,500). On the day of my phone appointment I sent them all the information they needed to claim this credit on my return (VIN number, make, model and date of purchase). Lance was exasperated by this simple and common tax credit. I was disappointed that he was not familiar with this credit especially since I had mentioned it when I set up the appointment two weeks before, but I would have been happy to reschedule, let him figure it out, etc. However, Lance kept insisting that his confusion must have been my fault for not sending him my information in advance of my appointment. This was odd because he hadn't asked me to send him anything in advance. Also, my friends who referred me to him said they weren't asked to bring their information in advance, they simply showed up with it on the day of their appointment, as I did. Moreover, the information required to claim the credit is not lengthy (simply requires VIN, make, model, and date of purchase). It was clear that Lance was embarrassed that he was unaware of this common credit and wanted to make me feel bad about it. He even made a snarky remark that he "didn't know anyone that drives a Chevy Bolt [my car]". Sorry it's not good enough for you Lance! He spent nearly the entire appointment hanging up and calling me back until our time was up. When I pointed out that we weren't done with the tax return, he said he'd call me back "in the next few days", "maybe tonight", "or something". So after wasting an hour of my time and not completing my tax return, he didn't even have the professionalism to schedule a follow up appointment. After our appointment, I plugged my taxes into TurboTax, entered my vehicle information and PRESTO, a $7,500 credit appeared. I'm amazed that was too complicated for Lance.
