My one interaction with The Agency was not in a business client relationship scenario . But I still think it’s relevant to note my experience as it speaks to their overall professionalism and ethics (or lack).

I was in Las Vegas a week ago staying at Circa hotel and had an unpleasant interaction with an agency affiliate (presumably an agent) I instantly recognized “The Agency” logo on the tee shirt he was wearing (found out later by checking Instagram that there was an agency awards party taking place at the casino next door).

Anyhow, I was walking around the casino floor on a few separate occasions in the span of perhaps 20 minutes and on each occasion, this agency associate was repeatedly attempting to bait me into stopping what I was doing to walk over to him and talk to him when I’d made it abundantly clear (albeit silently in the form of simply ignoring and continuing to walk away) I was uninterested in doing so. He then began to briefly follow me and continue to call out to me and which I continued to ignore. Finally I did stop just long enough to ask him if he did in fact work for “the agency”, which he confirmed that he did.
What I had intended on saying to him but did not get the chance to do was to ask him if he felt that his behavior was a good reflection on the company he worked for . I have a strong suspicion he was also highly intoxicated and perhaps was still up from the previous evening seeing this took place around 8:30 am. (Which , let me be clear , I’m no prude but if you’re gonna be drunk /high/belligerent or any combination of the 3 , then you better be sure you take off that tee shirt so you aren’t tarnishing your brand!

Apparently he was standing in front of a door that lead to the VIP gaming area and before I could make my comment I mentioned above, he opens that door and is being verbally aggressive with me trying to convince me to follow him into this room for the purposes of (in his words) “bringing him good luck”. I said “No” and turned around to walk away yet again. The interaction came to an end with him calling out to me (verbatim) “FINE! F$&k you then!” Before retreating back behind this entrance door .

I’m sure I don’t need to further explain to anyone on how inappropriate, offensive , unprofessional, and just overall unsavory his behavior was. What’s worse is the fact that he had no idea who I was and yet felt it was of no issue to be representing the company that employs him and act that way. Now while it turns out that in this case, I am “nobody”, what if I wasn’t ? That easily could have resulted in lost business and/or a severed business relationship. The odds of this are very much increased in a place like Las Vegas where you very easily could be crossing the wrong person.

I don’t know the capacity in which this individual is part of your company but if it were me, it would be clear that this person had absolutely no place on my team whatsoever.

Unfortunately I do not know his name but I imagine. It wouldn’t be too hard to figure out who this was . It’s worth noting in the spirit of fairness , that at no point did he ever put his hands on me. I definitely want to be clear on that!

From the photos I saw on instagram, I have a relatively good idea of whom this person was but since I’m not 100% positive, I felt it best not to mention any names. Besides , that person knows who they are ..

Lastly, I actually reached out TWICE to Mauricio Umansky as well as whomever is the inbox recipient for the contact page on the primary website and NEITHER returned my messages. That’s almost worse than the actual altercation itself . This is really indicative of where the priorities of this company and its affiliates lay (lie?) .

You sell classy Luxory real estate. So act with some class or at the very least don’t be sloppy when you’re branded in company logos. You are a walking billboard when you do so and someone who sells million dollar homes to very wealthy people shouldn’t need to be told this. Just sayin…
