We cannot recommend the 1927 Lake Lure Inn enough for a wedding venue! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They were welcoming, kind, and incredibly attentive, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. They helped us create the wedding reception of our dreams, and everything turned out even better than we imagined. The food was absolutely amazing—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and the historic charm of the venue added such a special touch to our celebration. If you’re looking for a stunning location with exceptional service, the 1927 Lake Lure Inn is the perfect choice. We are so grateful for the memories they helped us create!

I brought my wife to enjoy a peaceful weekend at Lake Lure. We booked a room with a huge garden tub. Room was very large with a king bed. Exceptionally clean even though it is an older structure. Had a great evening in the bar before heading out to dinner. Sunday Brunch was the best part. Lots of great food with excellent serving. Highly recommend.

Fond memories of living in Lake Lure during the 70s and into the 80s. Staying at the Inn was very nostalgic. Hotel built in 1927 so is over 100 years old. They’ve done a great job keeping it comfortable for guests. Highly recommend if looking for a beautiful area to come to chill and rest.

I will recommend the 1927 Inn for a wedding venue to everyone I meet! The staff was amazing, Kathy was amazing, the food was delicious. Even the behind the scenes worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect. We went all out with the packages even including our rehearsal dinner and every part was a 10/10. Our wedding was last April, I thought I posted a review but I didn’t see it so I wanted to be sure I told anyone that was looking, choose the 1927 Inn!!!

The facility is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and their hospitality is outstanding. So glad they survived Hurricane Helene. If you are thinking about a place to go, to not just have a nice time away, but to also support a local inn, I highly recommend you consider the 1927 Lake Lure Inn. And if they are available, the chocolate covered strawberries were fantastic.! So was their cheese and cracker tray. Thank you for a wonderful stay…!💖

NOT Affected by Hurricane Helene!!! Looks better than ever. Very rich history of celebrities who have stayed there. Patrick Duffy, President Jimmy Carter, Roosevelt and Truman, Barry Fitzgerald of Ghost hunters Very elegant , and a 5 star hotel. #celebrity #haunted #1 #travel #tourism Family friendly , LGBT friendly. Located on main road. Very peaceful at night Has a bar and restaurant

I have passed by this beautiful hotel many times over the years. My wife and I decided to stay one night December 13th. We were terribly disappointed at the small size of the room and bathroom. The bed took up almost the entire bedroom. I turned on the TV and found that it wasn't working. The person at the desk came to check, but failed to get it to turn on. Also, a complimentary breakfast was advertised, but was not available. On the good side, the bed was comfortable, and a 10% discount was given for the TV. We were really expecting more for the price and what we thought was a more luxurious hotel.
To make matters worse, my credit card was charged an additional $186 for no apparent reason. And it took a month to clear it up. We will never stay there again!

Our room was in the old part and it was awful. Sheets had not been changed and there were pubic hairs in the sheets. Was told we had a beach front room. The only thing we could see from our room was the parking lot. Rooms were tiny and uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.
