I had to cancel my account with Telco recently after suffering from fraudulent charge after fraudulent charge. The customer service I received on the phone with the main Telco branch was on-par, and whatever issue I was experiencing was resolved quickly, without hassle, and the representatives I spoke to were refreshingly friendly and personable. However, whenever I had to visit any of the banks in-person, I was met with some of the most unprofessional tellers I have ever encountered, and this happened at both the Tunnel Rd Telco and the 4 Seasons Telco branches. They were rude, so quiet I could hardly hear them, didn't have a straight answer to my questions, and much much more. I miss the amazing bank you used to be, Telco!

We had recently joined Telco with great expectations. We have not been disappointed. Customer service has been fantastic. Today we went in to apply for a loan at the Hendersonville branch. Maria Alvarez was our loan officer. She listened to what we were wanting to do. She gave us information we needed and started our loan. We walked out with exactly what we needed. She was awesome and I believe she exceeded all expectations of excellent customer service.

I've banked with telco for about 2 years and in that time I have noticed, its a below average bank at least when it comes to the Hendersonville branch.
For example they dont seem to take alot of pride in the location.
The manager always parks her car under the awning where the teller lanes are because it's broken, the atm is out of commission 75% of the time. The turn over rate is high so there's never really any connections made with the tellers... I mean so it's okay but at a very minimal level. Not the worst/ not the best

Telco has handled my home loan and numerous car loans over the years as well as our checking and savings accounts. Maria Alvarez deserves my highest praise for her stellar efforts and service. She promptly, deftly, and professionally handled my loan with kindness, courtesy, and compassion. Maria helped me establish my account a few months ago. She educated me on how I could build my credit through Telco. She said she was too busy to finish my credit application and asked if she could submit it next week and call me. I agreed. She never called and I had to call every branch in the area to get someone. I had to start my credit application over and they made it seem like it was my fault.

They are changing over to Mastercard so when I set up my account they were supposed to mail me my new card after about 2 weeks. It's been months and I still have not received this card, and as such, I am unable to use the money in my account.

I feel as though Telco has treated me like a second class citizen, and I can recommend that others bank elsewhere.

it is one of the best banking experiences I’ve ever had in 40 years... seriously.. there is a woman I will just state her first name Maria at the branch who is absolutely outstanding !!! and she has gone out of her way to give me excellent excellent customer service... also I left a commercial bank to come to Telco credit union and I cannot believe the difference in how much lower the fees are !! and how much lower all the interest rates are.. I am extremely happy.. I would highly recommend Telco.. ( not to mention they are very financially sound.. I did my research ) BRAVO !

WOW! I just want to take a minute to brag on my Telco Branch manager! My Branch Manager is better than yours!!! Maria at the Hendersonville 7th Avenue branch is INCERDIBLE! Running and overseeing the entire operations of the bank, she takes time to help anyone that she can, often behind the counter assisting the other tellers, performing administrative duties and the day to day operations, she finds the time to get to know you by your name, acknowledges you when she sees you. Is so willing to help. Maria helped me with my first ever car loan, personal loan and set up my business account for my 501c(3) non-profit, asked me to let her know when Love and Respect plans to do outreach events because Telco would like to partner and be present! Man how AWESOME is that? Banking with Telco is always so personable, it's like walking into a space and being amongst real genuine friends!
