In 2021, my wife and I worked with Susanne when we started looking into purchasing a home. Throughout the whole process she was warm, kind, and generous with her time. She was quick and diligent with her work, and supported us throughout. It was a pleasure working with her as an agent, she helped us find and buy our dream house and we have been so happy with our house for the past two years!
We started looking into buying a house during the pandemic, but didn’t take it seriously until we decided to stay in the San Jose area long term. At this point we reached out to Susanne to help us.
She helped us schedule tours, went to open houses with us, and helped us research houses within our budget and desired area. She would travel near and far to visit houses, and even at times got us a visit before the house was on the open market.
If the houses we checked out were no longer available, or we didn’t find them appealing, Susanne would always have another set of houses for us to check out the next day. She helped us understand all the details on the house market reports, and would give her honest assessment of if the house was a good fit for us.
She was great with other real estate agents, and we were glad to have her on our side when negotiating with the seller’s agents.
When we ultimately found the house of our dreams, Susanne made the closing process quick and seamless. She was there throughout the whole closing process, from signing our new loan to negotiating the final terms with the sellers.
I can’t imagine the house buying process without her, and we highly recommend her for anyone looking for an agent!

Over the years I have bought and sold 10 properties and I have learned how important it is to use a good realtor who specializes in your area. I was the trustee dealing with our parent’s estate and I needed to prepare their condominium for sale. I interviewed several realtors who had been highly recommended to me and also looked for real estate offices in Los Altos where my parent’s condo was located. I found Susanne Bohl on the Coldwell Banker website and had her meet me at the property. She was the only realtor I interviewed who took the time to really look at the entire complex including the laundry room, parking structure, and storage. She prepared a very thorough market analysis and was very knowledgeable about the specific niche this condo was in.

The condition of the condo was a “contractor’s special” that was going to be a hard sell and would be discounted accordingly. We determined that a better strategy would be to optimize the property in the hopes of selling it for a much better price. One of Susanne’s strategic recommendations was to add a washer and dryer to the unit.

Susanne helped us to find individual tradespeople, general contractors, handymen, landscape designers, cabinet installers, stagers and was a sounding board for which improvements and design decisions would be the smartest choices. Her agency also offered to help finance the improvements if we had used their list of tradespeople. It took seven months from the start of the project until completion. Susanne was a constant resource for us throughout the entire process.

One of the most important things is to properly price a property. Since this was a condo, it was especially important to price it appropriately. Susanne recommended “Blue Vase Staging” who did a stunning job of optimizing the property for sale. In addition, she was extremely thorough about going through all of the disclosures and getting all of the documents from the HOA. She also caught a $40,000 unnecessary charge on the closing statement from the title company. The condo sold for more than any of us expected in seven days. What more can I say. She is the best.
