Visited around 12:20 pm on 2/8/24; the individual on the far right computer provided impeccable customer service. They made me feel very valued as a Star One member with their mannerism and consideration. They included me on every step of the process and ensured they understood everything that was going on. Unfortunately, I was too shy to ask for a name, but I felt the extreme need to write a review for this person because they were just so polite and kind. People like this individual encourage me to keep banking with Star One and feel supported in that decision. Please acknowledge and reward them for their brilliant service!

I visited this branch around noon yesterday (7/10/2020) to get some questions answered about my Star One account before I move to another state. When I first walked up to the door a friendly employee was manning the front door and informed me that entering the building was by appointment only, and that I’d have to book an appointment online. He also said if I had a problem then to let him know so that he could take care of me.

I went back to my car and accessed the website on my phone to book an appointment but the next availability wouldn’t be for 4 more hours, which didn’t work for me and so I returned to the friendly deputy doorman. He listened to me explain that I was unavailable for the later appointments, and I said that my questions were brief and regarded the fact that I am leaving the area in a week and time was not on my side. The doorman connected me to John B from Member Services who said he could help me out and took me to his desk.

I had a list of questions to ask about my account and had to make some changes, and John was a huge help and took care of all my questions showing his patience and professionalism. He even went the extra mile and looked up local credit unions near my new out-of state address before I had a chance to ask about accessing my account via partner credit unions.

It was the most incredible bank visit I’ve ever had and I’ve become a Star One customer for life. I wish I caught the name of the deputy at the door, all I can say is he’s lived on the Gulf Coast. Also when I was leaving he helped me avoid close contact with someone who didn’t have their mask on. 10/10 to both John B and the friendly employee at the door.

Over the past 7 years of using Starone, I've NEVER had any issues. Credit unions really are the way to go, but Starone in particular is a step above the rest.

Any time I've needed to contact customer service or needed anything outside of ATM/Teller services, the wait has always been non-existent or minimal. I've never had ANY issues to date, and that's saying something for a financial institution. Would highly recommend!

Friendly staff, very easy mobile deposits from their iPhone app, good rates on savings account (compared to other banks), and good website. And with free access to ATMs across the country (through the Co-Op network), there really is no reason to bank with one of the big national banks!

Can't even sign up using Chrome. I called and the said to use a different browser. Why would I keep my money with a bank that can't even keep up with the times? How many people that want them to hold their money are they turning down by this? Why? My guess is they don't want to spend $ for their web site to get fixed. BTW I tried 1-2 years ago and had the same results. They know this is a problem as they told me on the phone and it has affected me for over a year.

So your thinking... Just use an other browser dude....

This has been this way for over a year. I use chrome so is online banking going to be a fiasco also? Star this if you want "someone" to see this and get it fixed, but I'm over it. Why is it so hard to pay for IT?

What once was a easy access cess, has turned out to be a very user UNFRIENDLY system. It's better and almost more convenient to drive to the CU!!!! I would have given you a zero, but that was not an option. The current system SUCKS big time. -Z-

Very bad customer service, when you need cash from your saving or checking accounts they ask you why you need this for? What you are going to do with money? It’s a joke. Gave you bad attitude. I closed my accounts with this bank. I’m happy I did.
