I recently had the pleasure of working with Jared Baribeau - Member Service Representative at StarOne, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I received. He assisted me in setting up my online banking login, helped with referrals, and took care of several other issues I was facing. I wish I can give a zero star! I went here to cash a check! And the teller was extremely rude! Not only did she not cash my check she said that she needed my social she needed my email address she needed every single little piece of information to cash a check! I have never used a social security to cash check in my life! This by far has been the worst experience I have ever had at a bank she needs to be fired everybody there needs a training course in how to treat people like humans!

I am writing this comment its not to destroy the reputation of star one but to correct the attitude of that white lady bank associate Lauren S. at Blossom hill branch. I just need to get this out of the public that I had a bad experience of their customer service that day when I apied for a loan my credit score is high she didn’t even pre approved . I wouldn’t go and visit there if I am not capable to pay a debt. She’s
like super racist , sarcastic she was so terrifying, always frowning and unapproachable . She’s different from those people I’ve met from other branches they are warm and accommodating . and the one who helped my application before pre approved me, even if its my first time to apply for a loan .that lady at blossom hill has some issues. She’s not fit to that job bein a customer service person. My companion on that day is scared with her too The look in her eyes seems like a bit off to me. I definitely
don’t recommend to a friend. Glad my friends decided not to sign up and invest their money otherwise they also have a bad experience like what I had.

Supervisor rude, i wish this bank was at least a little reliable. Deposit money night before, woke up check the online banking, amount is missing.
Called corporate and asked what is going on, they said they have system issue but i can get money from ATM or inside the bank, i went inside and rudely and indirectly got referred to close the account if i don't like it. And they can't release my money because ATM didn't record it. I showed them proof and waiting over an hour to just get my own money back! Hated it. Noway coming back. Bad experience..

I've used all of Star One Credit Union's services during the last 50 years (...signing up as a Lockheed Missiles & Space Company employee, when Star One was a Lockheed institution). The interest-earning rates continue to be fine and high, the interest-owing rates continue to be low, the teller interactions continue to be excellent. But, over the past ten or so years, the quality of performance of the loan department (for housing-related loans) has been very, very poor. Mortgages, refis, and HELOCs used to be processed in a streamline and quick fashion....long-time customers with substantial collateral in the credit union would be treated well. But that no longer appears to be the case. In two loan-seeking instances over the past five years, I experienced lengthy delays, handoffs between four and five representatives, forms I filled in that were inaccurately reproduced/edited by Star One (such that I had to re-do them), and way, way too much red tape and requests for information that was not commensurate with the size of the loan being sought. At first, I thought these unfortunate circumstances at Star One were due to more severe regulations on the finance industry resulting from the 2008 housing crisis. But, disgusted with Star One, I instead sought loans from Wells Fargo Bank and no such onerous problems exist there: the rates and terms are good and comparable, the representatives are very competent and friendly, and I received loans in very short order. My recommendation is to bank at Star One but seek loans elsewhere.

I always have an amazing visit when it comes to StarOne very easy and worry free I also got helped by someone different and even tho it wasn’t my usual agent she helped me complete a loan and some other stuff I need in no time she is awesome definitely recommend her for anyone thanks Monica B
