The gentleman is correct. The company I was speaking of is in a different state. My apologies. Thank you for clearing up my mistake.

I called SE Financial to obtain information regarding offering their loan services to our customers on new boat purchases. I left a vmail for Mia and ask her to return my call. Two days go by and still no return call. I should have known by the lack of response that I should have just researched others on the long list of providers but I tried calling again and also once again left a vmail for Mia. I stated in that vmail that I had left a previous vmail but had not heard back from anyone and if they had interest in doing business with my company I needed to hear from someone. 20 minutes later I get a call back from Mia. She was very abrupt, short and unprofessional. I guess she had a chip on her shoulder because I stated I had not heard from her in my second vmail. I started to ask a question and she immediately cut me off with an answer without understanding what I was trying to ask. I have lived long enough now and have owned and run enough businesses to know that if your are treated poorly and unprofessional in the beginning that it is only going to get worse. I politely thanked her for her time and said goodbye. Five minutes later I spoke to one of their competitors on my list. I received a completely different attitude. This individual (Jan) was polite, answered all of my questions, took some information and is sending me an application. The importance of who a company chooses to be a customers first contact cannot be overstated. SE Financial may be a fine company but I will never know and do not want to know based on who they chose to make the first extremely poor impression of their company.

Really enjoyed working with Southeast Financial. They always replied quickly with information we needed or to answer questions we had. Made the whole process easy and smooth. We are definitely very happy with our experience.
