My mom is on hospice and my father has dimentia. Mrs Lynn just helped me with my family's situation to help me better understand everything during one of the most difficult parts of my life. She was kind, patient, compassionate. She was amazing. I don't write reviews typically but she relieved a huge burden of just being able to explain everything and for that I am grateful. Thank you Mrs Lynn. I wish all agencies were this helpful, I think we would have a lot less stress in this world.

I am a libertarian and usually have nothing good to say about the government. However my experience with trying to get my property tax rate adjusted with the Shelby County Tax Accessors office was shockingly wonderful. They listened to me and were completely fair. They even went out of their way to help me with information about the tax system and rules that helped me out. I know other people have their own opinions but my experience was that if you are open and honest with them they are very helpful as fair.

Horrible and rude! Will not work with you at all!!! I thought Jefferson County was bad... I have all my legal documentation to prove I don't owe this hellacious amount of taxes they are collecting on for my new home purchase that I filed Homestead on, on time. The previous homeowners owe it. They are just making the rules up as they go! Calling a lawyer now!!! I'm not going to pay someone else's taxes on a house that I did not own, or live in at the time!!! Simple as that! They also made the comment Shelby County is better than Jefferson County. I think not with that attitude! Huge ego!
