Our first visit to the OBX led us to think of owning a property on the beach. We are not local to the area, and were very skeptical to buy / build. Our concerns were immediately put to rest once the SAGA team explained all the details of their turnkey building process - looking for the right land, designing the home, the construction process, furnishing and getting started with the rental process. They worked with us to understand our Investment objectives and delivered a great quality home, on schedule and ready for rentals.
The SAGA team presented us with opportunities that matched our needs, shared timely progress updates and photos during the building process and were flexible to accommodate any changes we requested. We are very impressed with the design, quality of the material and attention to details in everything they did. We can call the SAGA team anytime and they are promptly there to help.For us it's a completely new experience to work with a team that is there for us even AFTER the completion of our home, "A Wave From It All".

The Outer Banks of North Carolina has always been a favorite vacation destination for our family and we were excited to build our first investment property there. We chose to build versus buying existing to take advantage of the design and efficiency benefits that come with new construction. Choosing SAGA as our builder was an easy decision based on their product, unique style, level of quality and attention to detail found in all their homes.

Sumit Gupta, SAGA’s CEO, discussed our goals and personally helped us view and choose the perfect location and plan to suit our needs. Our personal design preferences were listened to and easily accommodated by the experienced SAGA staff. We worked directly with SAGA’s in-house designer, Tanya Dulyaba, who helped ease the decision-making process, narrow down options, and ultimately helped us achieve the comfortable, modern-coastal design we were hoping for.

The SAGA team did an excellent job of making themselves available during the entire process and providing ongoing communication. The level of personal attention made us feel as if we were their only client. We cannot express how pleased we are with our new investment home. It’s apparent that one of SAGA’s goals is to provide their customers with an experience worthy of this type of investment. They succeeded in making us proud of “Sapphire by the Sea”. We would definitely choose SAGA again and would recommend them to anyone looking to build in the OBX.

Disgusting neglect by SAGA Construction and Realty. The company has owned this historic hotel in the heart of the Edenton, NC historic downtown for 8 years and not maintained it on the inside or outside. As a result, it has been vandalized and poses a public safety risk.

The best decision to build and relocate to OBX was made even better with our choice of having SAGA for our builder. The SAGA Team is well organized, honest and truly delivers a great finished product that we are proud to call home. From our initial meeting, Tammy Peterson took great care working up fine details for plans, revisions and following through to the completion of our home. Both Tammy and Gracelyn handled our many phone calls resolving our concerns professionally and promptly. Our biggest shout out has to go to the contractors under the direction of Tom Bennett, who delivered an incredibly well built home. The attention to detail is really impressive and we are grateful to his many suggestions throughout the process. Tom also delivered ahead of schedule while keeping on budget. Our many thanks for a comfortable, well constructed house.
We were kept updated with pictures and phone calls regularly which was really appreciated since we were out of state during the building process.
All of the SAGA Team was pleasant, helpful and truly great to work with. Their Customer Service does not stop at the completion of the house. We love our home and would definitely recommend SAGA to build your next home.
