If you think this will be great insurance you are wrong! They will cancel you if they find out you have what they call "increased hazards". What they mean is you have a rescued German Shepherd and their inspector got scared because he was barked at from behind a window. We've been with them for several years and the house is in great conditions. Yes, there are a few things I agree with but those aren't cancellation worthy or "increased hazards"! They don't even get a one in my book for this stunt!

This company is horrible. They tried to charge me $145/month for liability insurance on a vehicle that I don't drive. When I began with Safeco, I paid under $120/month for full coverage. When I canceled my policy, they attempted to still withdraw funds from my bank after it's been canceled. Then they had the nerve to charge me a return fee for the charge not going through. All this after I canceled them. I do not recommend using Safeco

Safeco insurance is hands down the worst company I have ever delt with in my entire life, over 55 years. Roadside assistance is non-existent in cases of your life safety.

I called last year in late may at 12:30 am they call me the next day after 10 am and ask if I still needed service. This is not the first time this has happened multiple times in the past 4+ years especially if rual areas however this has happened in the Tulsa metro area also. I am not saying it's this location, it's the corporate way the company allows the roadside service to operate. I would hope that the corporate office would make sure that theRA would improve their service responsibleness to the people that needs service!

1 star equals zero stars, as it is the lowest possible score.

TOTAL nightmare, took forever to respond & grossly underestimated damage. Had it been much larger of a claim I may have just hired an atty to handle it. Had homeowners & multiple auto policy with them. Looking for new insurance company.

Don’t use this company. When I first called to file the claim on Sunday, the lady answering the phone was actually very helpful. She looked up my policy and said my son will be covered as she’s handled quite a few cases like this. Then next day, when the adjuster, Patrick Donovan, called me he said he’s going to deny the claim. I asked if this is his personal decision, he said no, he talked with a “group” of people. I then asked for those people’s names, he flip flopped to admit that’s his personal decision. He said he’s going to talk with his manager and call me back. Two days later he called me again saying he is going to deny my claim. I said I’m going to appeal and file a complaint against him. He said he’ll record our conversation and I said fine but let’s first pull out the recording of our first conversation. He said it’s not recorded. Oh, really? I question the integrity of my adjuster. Patrick, I’m NOT threatened by you.

I am now a month into the claim process for hail damage to our roof and I have heard nothing. I have called numerous times and can't even get anyone on the phone. Mid missouri insurance is the company that I pay for my house insurance, but when I filed the claim, it went to Safeco. Absolutely the worst experience. I can only speak for my experience, but I will never go through this company again. AWFUL!!

Sure wish 0 stars was an option! They find any reason to not pay claims and leave you with a totaled vehicle and the cost of the rental AFTER making you pay deductibles upfront then don't return your money. Adjuster Anthony is VERY rude and difficult to speak with. Biggest insurance scam company. Do not recommend!

Stay away if possible. Had car and home owners policies. No claims and never a late payment. First year rates went up 25%. Second year they tried a 50% increase and I switched companies. Which fits every insurance companies business model. Which is quote a low rate hope there are no claims and then start raising the rates until you switch companies. And if there is a claim they raise the rates to recover their loss. It is legalized extortion at best.
