The website was absolutely lacking in details or information. I called the number for at least three days before the “owner” answered. He was extremely rude and dismissive when I asked questions. Would not give any details beyond the deposit and payments. I asked if my two elderly small dogs were allowed. He said we don’t do pets and hung up. This was a simple phone call asking for relevant details about renting. I cannot imagine how he treats actual renters.

Call to get a quote and stated he had a one bedroom available. Stated who would all be living there I told him me but family would visit probably . He stated he wouldn’t get involved with this and hung up on me . I find it very horrible to treat anyone that’s trying to better themselves like this . Seems like he has a bad record of mistreating people . I wouldn’t dare recommend anyone that get approved to deal with this guy . Racism slurs at its highest !

I had to give 1 star but he is a 0. My husband talked to him about renting a place they want him to pay the deposit but not tell him where he was going to be living he asked about airline and he got real defensive and said he don't like people asking about his property then he blessed him out and told him to get to stepping. Very bad customer service

I would give 0 stars if I could. ROACHES, BED BUGS!!! And RICK goes the extra mile to make sure he DOES NOT ASSIST YOU. He is also extremely rude and beyond unprofessional to the point it’s harassment. Entering your home when you are not there to “check things out”.
The property owners are lazy and any issues you have with the unit will be taken personally and you will not be assisted. They do not turn on the AC until early June. They also do not turn the Heat on until early Dec. You are also not allowed to have personal heaters. The utilities are included but all under Rick/RTJJ control. Just a disgusting miserable place to live truly the Slums.

I rented from here for the past 3 years. My husband and I where at rock bottom when we walked into this office and Rick gave us a second chance. We are so grateful for our time spent there and will never forget it. Cat is super cool. I loved going in to chat with her when I went in to pay my rent. Apartments are small but they are just what you need if your trying to get on your feet. Power and cable is included..who can beat that? I Recommend RTJJ to anyone who is trying. Really Good people!

Literally a slum lord. Please don’t go through them unless you absolutely have to. Rick is so rude, when I turned in my keys he talked down to me. One time he was outside my apartment on the phone and I heard him say the N word with a hard R! I was in shock. These houses are raggedy anyways. Unprofessional and disrespectful.

I would not recommend them the lady that works there, and the guy that owns it are both unprofessional. He had the nerve to tell me, and my boyfriend that he don't like renting to people like us, and then going to tell him not to get angry (for giving us the deposit back for no reason). He had already took our deposit at this point. I personally think he used the money, and then flipped it. Gratefully, I am glad he declined because we found something better. It's a waste of money the money you would pay take it, and find something nicer. The homes are terrible, and he is not a good person! He is rude, and entitled. He doesn't like to answer questions. It was a horrible experience. I wish I would have never stepped foot in his establishment! And he calls black people roaches! What he didn’t know was when I walked in I was never dressed to impress but me and my boyfriend have been living in Dallas for 9 months, and never missed a payment he actually missed out on good tenants, but him and the lady like mindless tenants. She actually had the nerve to ask me, and my boyfriend where we in a domestic violence situation. Don’t waste your time their ignorant & weird people.

The rudest person never rent from him he is 😖 😱 awful
