Do not live in the apartments, there is roaches and rats. Heck me and my family even seen a mutated white roach! They kicked us out just for having roaches when really it is their problem. If that wasn't enough we had to buy bottled waters bc the sink was running black goo and we had to shower elsewhere.

Do not apply here! they take your money for the application, then won't contact you about your approval or denial. You can be in great standing with no evictions and a decent income you will still get denied. Please save your money 🫶

The woman in the office is so rude. My niece is looking for a place to rent and inquired about their apartments. She was told that her dog is over their weight limit. My niece told her that her dogs are ESA's with paperwork from a licensed psychiatrist and she was told that didn't matter. I called back and asked about it and the woman told me that's their policy. I told her that it was illegal to discriminate based on disability (which is what the housing authority considers it to be) and she told me to "do what you have to do then" and hung up on me. So, we're filing a complaint with the NC Human Relations Commission.

I got on their website downloaded the application went and paid to print it out and make copies of the necessary documents required. Then drove 45 minutes from Hickory to deliver the application and was told that they wouldn't have a two bedroom for 6 months or more and they would not accept my application at all wouldn't even look at it. So an hour and a half of drive time plus an hour prep and printing documents time plus those costs and the gas to essentially be told to go away in 30 seconds or less.

My mom put an application in cost 25.00 for them to tell her there wasnt enough points to get her a place. The place they sent her to was a run down trailer park and the rent was 240.00 a month. My mom is on a fixed income (they advertise all income considered) and they say you have to have 4 times the rent. She has this. She hasnt been evicted or anything evictions. These people are very rude when you go to the building and are un helpful. They made money off of a qualifying application. The women at the store around the conor said they had done this to them too. My mother only wanted to have her own place and these jerks took my moms money without any further explanation except for points. Do not put an application in with these people.

This place gave me the run around they never followed up about my application I had to keep calling them for updates. Then once they finally got all the information they needed they still didn’t call to say if I was approved or not. Again I had to call them just to hear them say I was denied and they go by a point system. Never did they explain to me what the point system was. I made more than enough money to stay in the house that they were renting. They basically took my application money and ran. I will never suggest this place to anyone.

This company is a joke! They based my ability to rent from them based off of a passengers race that was in my car! I had rental reference, make five times the rent and a solid background that was squeaky clean! Based off of something that they presumed to be an issue because a black man was with me I was not given the same chance as per say a WHIte couple or a white woman with a like color individual in a car would have been given! God knows they are wrong for taking my money for an application fee when they badgered me and questioned me about someone that wasn’t even gonna live there ( guess they need the money more than I do ha). I hope the person they rent to destroys their property because that’s what they deserve after they made me feel the way that they did! All is good over here! It didn’t break me or my spirit as I will continue to search for a real home that will embrace people of all colors!!!!
