Industry Knowledge: As lifelong renters, this was the first time my wife and I had ever considered buying a home. Diana carries deep-deep knowledge about everything from interest rates to details about homes to offers and counteroffers. "What is a realistic counter to the offer?" "Is this house going for more than it's worth?" "Should we live on a private street?" "What was the staging of this house hiding?"

Pre-Emptive Observations: All the knowledge that I mentioned above, I positioned them as questions coming from us, but Diana will also proactively tell you her observations. We found a really cute place, but then Diana pointed out that the house was on a really choppy, private street. She mentioned that because all property owners would have to agree to get the street redone, it was unlikely that the road would be improved any time soon. She would also point out things about the staging that might be hiding parts of the house that they didn't want you to see. We found a cute place that had an outdoor cloth coverage. She pointed out that the cloth coverage was masking the fact that there was a large apartment complex behind the house. It's these proactive observations that help you make the best decisions.

Highly Accessible: I called Diana A LOT. Like A LOT A LOT. Not only was she able to answer every question, but she was always available, very prompt, and made us feel like we had a real partner in the search.

Trustworthy: Diana spent A LOT of time with us. Time visiting houses, time evaluating bids, time talking through strategy. She didn't have to. It was very clear from the get-go that Diana is in this business to help people find the right home. She never pressured us to purchase quickly or purchase something outside of our budget. In fact, in many cases, she would encourage us to use MORE of her time to find the right place. We trusted her so much that we established that ALL THREE of us (myself, my wife, and Diana) needed to agree that the house was the right place before making a purchase. This formula turned out to be one of the best things we could have done. There were instances where my wife and I were sold on a place, but Diana was skeptical about its location or about its layout. I'm so glad that we didn't purchase those places and that we ended up where we did.

Patient: This is especially important for new buyers to consider. You won't know exactly what you want. Even if you think you do, you might change your mind. Diana doesn't expect you to know everything, and she's willing to be patient with you as you think about what's right for you.

When we're thinking about selling this place - we'll go to Diana. When we're looking to purchase another property, we'll go to Diana, and I'll recommend anyone else looking for a place to go to Diana. We can't thank her enough for everything she did for us.

We first met with Diana in March for our initial meeting to discuss our budget, cities of interest and our hard yes and nos. At first, the thought of buying a house, for us, was really scary. We didn’t know where to begin - but after having talked with Diana initially back in mid 2022 and finally sitting down with her this year and being in contact with a lender, things started to ease up.
