When my wife and I first thought that about investing in a property, we weren't quite sure exactly when or where we wanted to buy, so we went to a ton of random open houses just to get a feel for things. We met Rafael in one those random instances, and he immediately stood out as someone who was professional, enthusiastic and simply, a go-getter.

Two years would go by before we were actually ready to purchase. Due to personal circumstances, we needed to move faster than normal in securing a home, so we needed someone who was experienced and most importantly, had our backs. Rafael met and exceeded those expectations.

We spent about 5 weeks with him before landing on an agreement with a seller. Through it all, Rafael was patient and energetic. At around Week 3, after having multiple offers rejected, a hint of doubt began to creep in that perhaps the market was too high for us at the moment. That's one aspect of him that I always appreciated; he reminded us throughout the process that his main job was to lookout for us, so if we were not sure about a home then there's zero pressure to buy, he'll stick with us until the perfect home shows up. Of course, most agents will say that, but we felt like we put him through the test and his words proved accurate.

The escrow process went smoothly and without a hitch. Rafael was always one step ahead and knew what to lookout for and how to maximize the situation. We felt safe and confident that we was fighting for us instead of just trying to close the deal as soon as possible.
