Garbage broker Christian Carrier. Set up an appointment and clearly got too drunk last night to come out. Let his phone ring, then further attempts to call him he was on do not disturb. All he had to do was text back saying an apology or that he was busy. Will never work with this agency again.

Review of Jenny Park and R New York

Finding the perfect apartment in New York can be challenging, but Jenny Park from R New York made it a seamless experience for me. Her deep understanding of the market and attentiveness to my needs was impressive. Jenny's commitment was evident through her flexible scheduling and prompt responses to all my queries. Thanks to her extensive network, I found an amazing apartment that wasn’t even on the market yet, fitting perfectly within my budget and in a great location. The entire process was handled professionally and efficiently, from viewing to lease signing. I highly recommend Jenny Park and R New York for anyone apartment hunting in New York.

Bad experience working with the brokers here. A lot of nyc listings will exaggerate their virtual furnishing in their postings but R New York has really out done themselves. The posting on SE looked amazing, fitting a couch, TV with no issues and a bed with plenty of room in the bedroom. When I get to see the apartment, it was so small I was worried. Borderline scam small. No way you could fit any sort of couch in the living room and maybe if you’re lucky, you could put a twin bed in the bedroom with no space to spare.

In summary, wasted my time. Why fake the space so badly just to disappoint in the future.

Audacious in their incompetency namely Hilary Barr and people working there full time; run and hired by nepotism only - it wouldn't have been an issue had these people had even an ounce of integrity or work ethic; management has no qualifications nor have college education from a reputable institution.
Won't reply to emails or calls if you need them as an agent - their only job is to collect desk fee from agents, it is no wonder everyone is leaving R New York en masse.
Office space is small and sub par, always closed on weird days and hours for no apparent reason even on days that aren't government holidays.

Agent used bait and switch tactic. After confirming multiple times about the rental terms, I applied to an apartment. After being “approved” they mentioned that the terms are different and that I’d have to pay for an extra month that was initially offered as free as well as a broker’s fee where they had previously said there wasn’t one. They refused to concede on any of these terms. They will try to shift the blame on landlord and fail to accept responsibility but knowing the terms of a rental and communicating them is the most basic part of an agent’s job. I honestly would not ever use them, it’s not worth wasting your time and effort. For transparency, I did request a refund for application fee and they said they will return it.
