PLEASE!! If you have in any way considered living in these apartments, change your mind and RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! The owner has terrible anger issues, and drinks like a fish. Not worth it, AT ALL!

If I could give zero stars I would. Last year I rented an apartment originally from the daughter of Mike. And I will say she was amazing, treated me with respect and helped with anything I need. However 3 months into living there her dad Mike kicked her out and he went back to running the place. And this is when it got bad. He is an alcoholic with anger issues and treats you as if you are a child. I had been discussing with him moving to a larger apartment. However after looking into it I decided I wanted to stay in the one I was already renting and signed a lease for. Upon arriving home from work I found he had a couple in the office who he had taken in my apartment and showed them around without informing me. When I told him I wouldn't be moving to the larger apartment and I would be staying in my lease he pinned me against the wall and was in my face screaming and cussing me. I started moving my things out that day and gladly broke my lease because he was clearly crazy. And I no longer felt safe being a single mom with kids knowing he was entering my apartment without permission and had the audacity to behave the way he did.

Beautiful place to live I love to watch the horses that the owners have here and my neighbors are really cool.

If I could give, I would give this place a 0/5. The absolute worst place in town to live. The owner is an alcoholic that gets pissed over the smallest things and starts screaming and threatening you. In the well over a year that me and my husband lived there, the owner had the cops called on him several time for screaming at the tenants/ trying to fight them.

God forbid if you had an issue with anything in the unit. They are no help. One summer our AC was constantly out and we had to keep badgering them to get someone out, who could never seem to fix the issue, when they decided to get around to calling maintenance.

I would steer clear of these people. They are not the type of individuals that you want to give your money or time too. They will NOT respect you.

RENTERS BEWARE. If I could give negative stars, I would.
My mother signed a 6 month least on 7/11. On 7/12 she was admitted to the hospital where she passed away on 7/25, without having moved a single item in. She had paid a pro-rated first month's rent as well as the rental deposit of $600.

When I contacted the owners to inform them of the situation and see if there was anything they could do, they refunded HALF of the deposit ($325 including the apartment and mail key fee). When I followed up asking for a conversation as to why the other half wasn't returned as well, the response was "She signed a contract for 6months it got broke. Technically she didn't have to get anything back..."

If this is how they treat the family of someone whose mother just passed away without even moving into the apartment, I can't imagine how they would treat tenants who have.

I would not recommend this place to any young woman starting out. Me and my friend had looked at an apartment yesterday. The man that showed me and my best friend around kept grabbing our arm and making dirty jokes about young women, tried to get us to “launch his boat” for him, and kept insisting that we’d go to Walmart and hook up cameras in the apartment that we looked at. Very risky. I wouldn’t even give this place the one star that I did. I’m glad I had my best friend with me or it could’ve been bad.

If I had a choice, this place wouldn’t get the one star I’m required to give! My boyfriend stayed here for three years and I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here! He stayed here for the convenience of where he worked and how close we lived to one another! The landlord does not know how to talk to you without getting hot headed! He talks to you, no matter how old you are, like you’re a kid! Just very disrespectful! He will keep over talking you and will not let you get a word in edge wise! He goes into your apartment nonstop while you’re not there and checks your place out! In the summer time, he expects you to have your temperature set on 80 when you’re not home! If it’s not on 80, he will turn it on 80! He will not call you or notify you letting you know that he’s coming in! If you are home and don’t answer the door fast enough, he’ll go ahead and come on in anyway, not caring if you’re indecent or asleep! When something goes wrong inside the apartment, it takes them forever to take care of it or get it fixed, if it gets fixed at all! Don’t let the pics you see deceive you! They spray poison on the grass or around the pretty water fountain and light poles and trees bc they’re too lazy to weed eat! If you do something that upsets him or that he doesn’t like and your lease has run out, he will raise your rent on demand with no warning! He will do everything in his power to keep you from getting your deposit back when you move out! It’s best to document everything that’s wrong with the apartment when you move in and while you’re staying there, just to cover yourself! If you want your privacy respected, want to be treated with respect and want nice landscaping, this place isn’t for you!

This is a great and peaceful place to live, the managers are nice and kind. They fix the issues with the apartment very quickly.
