This place has done our taxes for many years. Going through a divorce now, I refused to sign the tax papers with the refund going to my ex's account (he has refused to pay child support for over 4 months; and he receives a large amount of child support money from SS each month, but not one penny of that goes to child support). He receives his income, plus SS child support, but refuses to pay child support to me. I was assured by the receptionist that by providing a voided check, the money would be deposited into my account. I stressed several times that I was not signing it and agreeing to the refund going to my ex, and I was repeatedly assured the money would come to me. I was lied to, and the money went to my ex, who is delinquent in child support. I will seriously reconsider returning to Puzey & Wright after I was repeatedly lied to. I'm curious how Puzey & Wright will reimburse me for my half of the refund that is owed to me? It was made clear to them that I was not signing it if the money goes to my ex who is delinquent in support.
