Horrible customer service. If I could give no stars, I would. Very rude and judgemental. Came in with hope to get answers for questions over a morgage loan. Between two employess I got no answers and instead left the their with more confusion. Andy Kim was the guy who was supposed to help but did the opposite of that. Relying on another worker for answers and how to do his
Job Andy Kim was not helpful and hardly spoke, he wouldn't even make eye contact completelu rude and unethical. After driving through traffic definitely was pointless as I was told they could send everything over via email. Which was NEVER sent by the way. They need to hire people who are educated in the area and are friendly at a minimum. They just didn't seem like they wanted to help very unprofessional. Avoid this branch if possible and do business elsewhere. Total waste of time.

I just want to give a thank you to the to the Provident branch in Dublin. Thank you just for your laughter and your fun every time I come into that branch I have so much fun. Their hospitality is five stars. I came in on a hot day. There was a young lady can’t remember her name, but she’s an Indian girl and she was so full of laughter and fun and there was a gentleman by the name of Leonard who gave me a ice cold bottle of water. I was so thirsty he went away in the back to get that water for me. Thank you Leonard for for excellent customer service

I usually reserve 1-star ratings for unsanitary conditions; but Provident gave me a ton of this instead:

A) Terrible Customer Service
B) Bungling handling of information
C) Empty worthless apologies
D) Awful communication

Do you like being "connected" to people who are supposed to help solve your problem; but tell you they have to connect you to someone else over and over again? Then sign right up with Provident Credit Union! I got "connected" to two people who had no idea what to do in one phone call. The day before, I was connected to a lady who-had I not been so frustrated-I would have pitied for her ability to only repeat questions to me, and forget the answers that were literally just given to her. I'd make a Joe Biden joke here, but that's hitting below the belt. But I digress!!!

Do you love applying for loans; only to hear nothing from anyone for weeks? Ahhh! The good old pre-internet days! PINE NO MORE FOR THOSE TIMES! Walk in to Provident, and starve no more for those frustrating delays in communication! It'll feel so much like the '70's, that you'll think the Brady Bunch are your neighbors!

Wait!! You might LOVE having ATM cards sent to addresses that you SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM NOT TO USE!!! If so, then let the good times ROLL as you tell them 3 TIMES that you can only receive mail to your post office box. enjoy it when they MAIL IT TO YOUR HOME ADDRESS! THAT way, you don't get THE CARD! Dig in as you make that next phone call to convince them to mail the card to your P.O. Box! What fun, huh?
Now, I bet we can count ourselves among the thousands of happy people who just ENJOY hearing empty apologies to be followed up by more incompetence and mishandling of simple communications. Don't you just love that? Well then get ready when your "online banker" fires off one apology after another as they bungle transaction after transaction. I mean...How much fun can you stand when that happens to you?
If you like that; then you'll love how your "online banker" implores you to make sure to contact him.....THEN WAIT DAYS for a return communication! I mean; what kind of red-blooded American DOESN'T like doing that? Well, that's what happen to this sucke--I mean former customer after I applied for a HELOC. Not only were confusing emails (requesting information that I already provided) sent, but I got the absolute fun of trying to figure out if the new person sending me such a silly request was a scammer! I mean, why watch Law & Order for crime thrills when you can LIVE the life of delays, bewilderment, and absolute frustration from people who are supposed to serve you?
Oh! These things happened within a 45-day span! Some rich people think the've got it made taking month-long vacations! The SUCKERS!
Let's review! I think I'm getting misty-eyed..No, that feeling is NAUSEA at the crap I had to deal with:
*They sent my ATM card to the wrong address.
**They bungled myHELOC application.
***Their online banker provided nothing but piffle.
An employee was flummoxed from basic information.

Now, why did I join this credit union? They had an offer to receive a $300 bonus to open up a checking account and follow some rules. Well guess what? Not only did they make doing business with them a constantly frustrating experience; but the ineptitude in their dealings was so painfully troubling, that I honestly don't want the $300!! It's worth it to never, ever, ever, I mean EVER deal with them again! EVER!
Now you go right ahead and join them if you want. Maybe you'll get far better treatment than I got. But if you end up getting spun around, ill-informed, and delayed on every dealing you have? Then get right in there, sign your name, drop your money in there and HANG ON!
I know I'm not a 6-digit customer; but even I deserved a lot better than what those people gave at Provident Credit Union. An angrier man would type "Screw them!", but with a 4-letter word to replace "screw".

I've been a Provident customer for 2 years now. I've always had a good experience with them. They are rarely ever busy and I don't ever wait in line. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I brought my business accounts there and they charge me NO FEES at all, which is saving me about $1,500 a year having switched over from Chase and Wells Fargo. Theres no checking account fees, no cash deposit fees, nothing. Running a retail business, we have a lot of cash to deposit and chase, wells, BofA charge you fees for depositing too much cash, Provident does not do that. I'm glad I made the switch and assume I will continue doing business with them for years to come. Thank you Honghai, Danial, and the rest of the crew.

Daniel Rodriguez and Andy Kim were each instrumental in assisting me with my private party auto loan, they made sure I was fully taken care of and that I had each and every one of my inquires addressed courteously and professionally. I’d fully recommend doing your banking here as I have over the past years. The rest of the employees are also very nice and expedient.

SCAM! Stay away from this bank. I received letter from Provident guarantee $300 bonus with $10,000 deposit into a new checking account. Went in with the promotion letter and spent almost an hour with incompetent staff who couldn’t figure out paperwork. Three months later I inquired about my $300 and they tell me it doesn’t show bonus code.
Definitely not banking with Provident due to their illegal business practices.
