From the beginning of my trying to repair my credit journey portfolio was always nice to me. They did not yell at me on the phone they were not disrespectful and explained to me how I could pay and set the monthly amounts online. I had four small delinquent accounts and almost done paying with no issues. They also keep you up to date with what's going on by sending updates after a payment or extra payments are made.

Portfolio Recovery Associates is the best collection agency I've ever dealt with. They offer affordable payment plans and their website is incredibly easy to navigate. You can even skip a payment via the website if money if tight. Overall a pleasant experience.

PRA Group is a collection group of a second chance. A second chance to get your credit right. This is the best collection agency, hands down. The site is a super efficient, effective, and extremely easy to use. They made it so easy to pay back my loan from a different company. Hassle free, straight to the point. AND they report to the credit bureau when you make payments. I wish ALL collection agencies were like PRA. It would be awesome if you could request what debt you would like PRA to pick up and help you pay back.

Whenever I would hear anything about “collections” I always had negative thoughts that would come with it. I was terrified of answering the phone for Portfolio Recovery. I would block any number they would call me from. Then one day I got something in the mail that talked about logging onto their website and setting up a payment plan. I thought I would see what it was all about. I created an account and logged on, and I was so very surprised! I couldn’t believe it. I was able to set up reoccurring payments THAT I COULD AFFORD AND ON MY TERM!! They let me decide how much and how often. They weren’t trying to push some outrageous payment on me. I was so happy that I received that letter in the mail and got on there and checked it out. Portfolio Recovery really is for the people!!

I’m on my husbands google account, however, I’m the one who’s felt with portfolio recovery and wow, they have been so patient with me and my financial roller coaster. They never once pressured me into making any payments.They consistently checked up on me to make sure I was able to make some kind of payment and when I couldn’t they let me know that that was OK and I can always call them and pay whatever I can to settle my debt. I just wanna say thank you to this company and I really appreciate the way that they handle business.

Although I am worrisome about incorrect information on my credit report, which I am currently disputing, I have been very pleased by the help I have received. The debt collection and resolution process is daunting enough. It makes a difference to have access to agents that help explain things and assist in finding a solution that works.
