I have only ever left 1 poor review in my life. But I felt the need to let other businesses know about our poor experience to hopefully save them some $ and a huge headache. We loved Byerly and Associates but when they got bought out by Pivitol, we immediately recognized it without anyone telling us about it.. the service was terrible. When we left and found a new payroll company, the whole thing was messy. January rolls around, and they refused to provide our employees with W2’s from payroll that THEY paid out. I called our payroll contact, Lesvita, to sort it out and she really cared less about helping my employees get what they needed. When I tried to contact the manager, Paige, she had her front desk tell me that she was with a client and would call me back… I never got a call but got an email from Lesvita immediately afterwards stating they were unwilling to help and sent me all payroll reports to find someone else last minute. Have not heard from the manager since then..

Aside from our own experience, we have referred a close friend of ours to Pivitol, and they have screwed with her finances and left her in a huge mess as well. Thankfully, she is self employed and has no employees under her like we do, but it sure is frustrating to have both of our small businesses in a mess during tax season.

The quickest way to break trust with clients is to mess with their finances. Mistakes happen, and we as business owners understand that. But to blatantly leave the mess without assisting in the clean up comes down to poor management and customer service.

I would NOT recommend using Pivitol Finance.
