Customer service is always helpful and friendly but trying to make a payment on a loan is the worst experience I've ever had in my life. If you can avoid doing any kind of loan payments through them do it. If you're paying from an outside bank they make it the worst banking experience you can possibly have and try to charge you fees to make a payment over the phone. To do an external account transfer takes 3-5 days and the only thing you see is funds from your external bank go away. It does not show in pending transfers for this bank. I shouldn't have to pay $10 to make a payment through a routing number or wait 3-5 to see it post to an account with an external transfer

10 years as a loan officer and i have never seen such poor motivation to help a customer capture a loan. Took my loan interest to another institution and got treated way better and approved in no time. you guys lost 700+ fico client here. Don't waste your time with this bank.

I had a fairly common problem with Pacu..FEES. I didn't know who they were til I got a car loan through the dealership..after my car was paid off, I knew I had some funds in the account because I had been transferring money in to cover the loan payments. The extra couple hundred dollars sat in the account and I always planned to swing by and pick it up and close the account if I didn't need another loan ...
but "WE LOVE OUR MEMBERS"...remember? Well, finally I was going to go take care of it, and get that cash. ..Well, apparently they start charging you fees if your account is inactive...they have your address, your phone number, email, etc But they won't tell you about it, why would they? And do they charge $1-2 a month? NO try $10 a month ..for 21 months ...til Now my $295 was $85 "surprise!?" Well how can you possibly write that many bad reviews? or tell that many people, what a backstabbing bunch of so and so's they are.....you can't. So watch out.

So 1 month later.... you saw the response. I reached out, through email, to see what they would say? Nothing, is the answer. Again they have my email and Phone they choose to not communicate. I'm even getting junk email from them still, and my account has been closed since I wrote the review. Lovely.

I am always Leary of leaving a bad review. I understand people have bad days. However, this bank, on more than one occasion was frankly rude and dishonest. I was even personally accused of lying on a form I was turning in. Lying? What good would that do me?
I watched as they made customers wait outside without so much as an apology.
The list goes on.
Run, do not walk AWAY from this place.
I am finally feeling like I have a sense of dignity after going to another facility.
I was treated with kindness and respect.
In addition, I accomplished, in 45 minutes at a different bank what I had spent three weeks going through ridiculous requests. - I finally gave up on Piedmont. I left with the little dignity I had remaining.
But, I am grateful I found another bank that was just wonderful. Everything works out in the end.

I’ve been coming to this bank for over 7 years. The women that work inside are wonderful and have always done anything they could to help me. It’s always a pleasure to go to this branch. Kindness and professionalism aren’t always commonplace nowadays. I couldn’t be happier to give them a good review.

Love PACU! We have always had the best costumer service when banking here. Debbie has always greeted us by name and gone above & beyond in her service to help us. Last year we were closing on a home in Florida and had it not been for Debbie we would have had to move our closing. Thank you for finally being a place we like to bank!

Will always use this credit union super friendly staff that calls you by name every time you walk in the door! Love Debbie especially she helped me through the process of getting the exact car I had wanted for so long! Best bank I have ever been with!! Highly recommended

Taking my money out on Monday. The absolutely the worse bank I've ever dealt with. They disabled my debit card because I didn't use it..so I called them, they sent me another one.. I activated the card went to the store and the declined the card . With over 20k in the account. I've been trying to get this account straightened out for months...I'm done with them...stay away unless you love frustration and incompetence.
