Set up a showing for Belleview apt at 10 am. I arrived at 9:30am I messaged let them know i was there and I know that i am early. Nothing back. I am walking the property and neighborhood just to check it out and make sure it is a good fit. I message at 10 am that I am here standing by the apartment....no message back. I wait 10 min. And then call to get an idea of when they will arrive. Marcus answers and says yeah umm I had to actually go to a inspection so I could be there in 20 min if you want to wait or if you want to reschedule. I said absolutely not, goodbye. I am standing at this apartment where the 2 next door apartments have heaps of hoarder like stuff by their doors but to be respectful since it was so close to time I wanted to take a look because that apartment grounds looked clean and sonetimes you are surprised. The thing is they could have messaged from before the inspection to let me know instead of making me drive across town to just answer the phone and not give an F like everybody has time to waste. Obviously that cancels out this company because it that is how they handle potential renters imagine the maintenance calls or anything else. Clearly they don't care, so this is an FYI aave yourself a headache if you want.

This review is specifically for Sharon at Peak. A year ago she helped facilitate me getting an apartment -- and I really appreciated her thoughtfulness, recommendations on the area (places to eat, veterinary clinics, and more), and constant help. As I moved out, Sharon was my point-person for figuring out any issues and making sure that I could smoothly go from one place to the next. I appreciated her knowledge, willingness to provide extra help, and make sure that I was in a good place.

I would go zero stars if I could. A week of communication has looked like this:

Monday: Sent in application. Text and Call left voicemail, no response

Rest of week: zero communication, called no pick up no text response no email until Friday. Called texted emailed and left voicemail every day no response.

Friday: Speak with Marcus who was absolutely unprofessional. Couldn’t tell me what the business hours were, told me that he thinks my application was declined. This is the first I’ve heard all week from an employee who was also talking to a coworker about me while on the phone with me. We make 8k+ per months have a 700 credit score and we’re apparently declined for a 1850 rent, but I never received an email or text or call saying that, I had to call and finally be told “I think you were declined” by Marcus.

Terrible management. Be aware that you won’t be able to be in contact with them most of the time, not to mention their unprofessional behavior. We asked to end the lease, they stated that we couldn’t until we found a new tenant. We had to vacate the apartment due to an emergency so we thought we’d turn in the key so that they could have it. Now we owe $4,394. But it gets better, they never told us that the lease was ended. We intended to pay each month for our remaining lease, so when I went to pay for November, it showed all of these charges. They never let us know that we had charges and now we owe late fees due to their lack of communication. We messaged them and called them 2 months in advance to let them know we needed to end the lease and they never replied. Be careful with them.
Edit: I also think you guys may have confused us with someone else. We paid rent on time, never were late. We also were not evicted.
