This is a legitimate company. I was notified by them about stock I had long forgotten about. They sent me a letter explaining that they receive a commission and some paperwork that I had to fill out. I made sure I called the company and asked any further questions. I had everything filled out mailed it in and within a week the Commonwealth of Massachusetts reached out to me to verify and fill out some paperwork for them. Without them, I would have missed out on over 1K. It was a blessing in disguise and I am more than satisfied. Highly recommend this company. Thank you again Payne Richard's

This company contacted me 7 years after my brother's death about some funds he was owed. There is no way they did any research on him. The first contact was in November of 2023. I returned all of the documents that Payne requested. It had to be notarized, which was difficult for me because I am disabled (& cost $25.00). I did that and sent it to them in June of 2024. In February of 2025, (8 months later!) they sent me a letter asking for another document. "This document was not requested in the original paperwork! I finally received the money owed to me yesterday, 4/22/2!025! Terrible company to deal with.

I strongly discourage anyone from submitting their claim to a third party, since it just delays the process and costs an unreasonable sum.

That being said, here's my review...

These lawyer people sent me a letter to my new address informing me that the state of PA has funds waiting for me. Included was the form to claim the funds, which was identical to the claim form on the states website. I was able to verify the unclaimed funds on the state's website in a few minutes. I was also able to fill out the form myself, entirely online via the state's website! Payne Richards and Associates wanted 15% of whatever is recovered, which would be hundreds of dollars. I was able to claim this money more directly without a middleman taking money or slowing down the process.
Thank you Payne Richards & Associates for informing me, without them, I'd have never known it existed. Also thanks to their friendly staff member for providing free information over the phone.
