Before the switch they were a good bank I've been here more than 20 years. Their contacts by phone simply don't work. They give you no options but to some virtual call center that never answers. Nothing from this bank has worked for me for over a week and they refuse to answer emails or phone calls.

This credit union used to be great. I've been with them for more than 20 years. I financed a car with them 21 years ago when nobody would give me a decent loan. I've had a couple of small loans with them and paid them off. I even had a visa card with them which was great. Then during my divorce that lasted 3 years I fell on hard times. I was a little behind on my credit card payments so they closed my card. I understand that. I made my payments to the visa still. Then I asked for another small loan. Even with my cars title. I asked if they could let me know their decision as soon as possible. They sent me a letter instead of calling me that I was denied. Then recently I applied for another loan. I've been with my employer for 28 years. I asked again for them to call me with their decision. It was almost 5pm then next day. I called the lady back Bianca and she said that she meant to call me earlier that day. Thanks Bianca. Now there is the problem with the new Mastercard. I've tried using my old card and could not access my money. It's July 15 and I still haven't received my new card. This place has really gone downhill over the years.

On June 24th, they switched from Visa to MasterCard. I was informed this while on a trip out of state and my card was cancelled because June 24th was the deadline. A woman on the phone informed me of this, and that a notificaton went out informing me of this (which, with me traveling, i did not receive). While helpful in finding a Credit Union that was in network so i could get cash, it was an obnoxious way for my trip to end. So, i get home, i check my mail. There is neither a notification nor my card. So they lied. I call, and the nice gentleman on the line informs me the request for the new card came on June 25th. The day AFTER it was canceled. It was clear they screwed up, and then lied about it to placate me. I then get the notification saying that it will be canceled June 24th...... On July 3rd. In the evening, after they have closed. I can't do anything about it, as the 4th is a national holiday, so i'm screwed for yet another day. On July 5th, still no card, i call, and inform a nice lady on the line that i'm pissed and if my card isn't in by today, 7/8/2024, i will be in tomorrow to cancel my account. I've been with this Credit Union for over 30 years. I've had little need beyond a savings and checking accounts. My father even stopped bank robbers who robbed their bank (back when they were on Fair Oaks). Back then, they seemed competent. This debacle shows they shouldn't even oversee a game of monopoly.

This branch is literally the slowest place in the world . With usually only 1 teller this is a joke! No matter what the transaction is they will take 28747393 hours. No sense of urgency or care and they move like they are IN SLOW MOTION

I took out a loan with my local credit union, who connected me with Anthony from Carscouts. During an emotional time when I needed to find a new car quickly at a great rate (emphasis on GREAT), Anthony went above and beyond to make the entire process easy and enjoyable. From our first conversation, it was evident that if it mattered to me, it mattered to Anthony.

I provided him with the following requirements: aesthetic body shape, a beautiful interior dash, good gas mileage, enough space to transport new furniture without being TOO big, and only essential safety features without unnecessary add-ons that just add to the cost. As you can tell, I didn't make it easy on him but Anthony found cars that matched my criteria perfectly. We texted back and forth, sharing jokes and car specs, until we locked in on a Mazda CX-30 with Apple CarPlay and a few other features that sold me immediately.

Anthony not only found a reliable car at a fantastic price but also made the process fun and simple. I highly recommend partnering with Anthony for any upcoming car purchases—his pep talks are great and his deal-finding skills are even better. Thank you, Anthony, for making this experience truly memorable!

More details for the nerds: The process included a brief phone conversation to level-set the situation, followed by texts back and forth with pictures and car specs. Carscouts drove the car down to a local branch, making it easy to pick up AND took care of all the registration and paperwork. The full process took under a month and I'm expecting my license plates in the mail any day now!

I absolutely love come in to the bank, all of the team is just the most inviting. Mrs. Brenda always has the best smile, and is so sweet. I have never been so overjoyed with a banking institution as I am here at Pasadena federal credit union. Tha k you all so very much for being the very best

I had a bad experience, I posted about this experience and then I received a call from Veronica Reigelman. She not only listened as I shared my experience, she didn't make excuses or become defensive when I let her know the help and the information I needed, but didn't receive when I visited the branch.

She was kind enough to take it upon herself to figure out the best way to assist me and not only that, she did it in a day and provided me with an update on a Saturday. In case you didn't know, they're closed on the weekends.

Now this is the Pasadena Federal Credit Union I have know!

My wife and I have been members for decades as have our siblings and kids… THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! ALWAYS GREAT SERVICE… Everyone here is easy to deal with.. always pleasant… never any hassles… do youself a favor and join if you’re able… and NO… I’m not related to anyone who works here.
