If I could give them 0 stars I would. SAVE YOUR MONEY and don’t even waste the time applying for a home with them. My husband and I have decent credit with a 90% on time payment rate. We applied for a home through partners and could not get an answer from anyone about anything. Maureen the leasing coordinator responded enough to get our financial info and then stopped responding. We make 20k a month, sent her work contracts, HR info, and she completely stopped responding. Roy, responds if he wants to. All around terrible experience and put a $40 application fee due to ā€œcredit denialā€ on a $2400 a month home and ended up approved for a $3500 a month home with no issues. This company is a scam who is just trying to collect money off of application fees. Save your time and money.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We are a dual military house hold and we’re looking for a place to live near base and in a good area. Let me save you time, do not rent from them. They have you use OBLIGO to rent, meaning they can charge you as much as they want through it and you have no way of communicating. Issue we have had is that partners never answers their phones. They don’t get repairs done that happens prior to our move in and said they will fix it, instead they blamed us and I am currently working with a lawyer on this. As well as if you have any issues in the house, the contractors take forever to get things done and the leasing agency doesn’t stay on top of the repairs. We moved in and have a moldy carpet step. I tried cleaning it myself and reached out to them, but they said the owner doesn’t want to pay for it. Our neighbors had carpet from the 90s almost, still installed. ENJOY THE MOLD. Took us a couple of months to get a working dryer, and washer. Kept trying to change parts on the old dryer and then bought the cheapest one that has had issues as well. Had a bursted pipe, contractor came 8 hours after if not longer around 5am, waited since 8pm. He said they had 28 calls that day for bursted pipes. Then 2 days later he came and said it’s a bursted pipe that got clogged, before he left he changed his mind and said he snaked out a large plastic piece… I don’t have children, we wouldn’t put plastic down the drain. When I asked him for the plastic piece to see he said he threw it out, I asked to see and and he refused and walked away. Later he told partners that he ā€œbroke throughā€ a plastic piece. Anything to make us pay. I have a lawyer working on this case as well. They miss out on cleaning the road, to the point where people can’t get up the drive way or round about. Really don’t recommend to anyone. While arguing this case with them I have found out I am not the only one that has had this issue. I don’t know how we didn’t notice the 2.5 star rating. Save your time, money and nerves.

After waiting just a few days shy of a month to write this review, my husband and I are finally fed up with this situation Partners has put us in! We rented this property going off pictures they had posted with their rental listing, and boy were we led astray!!! We got a call from the listing agent Sandra 2 days before we were set to arrive in Wasilla and move in telling us they were doing ā€œdrywall workā€ and wouldn’t be finished until Friday. (2 days after we were set to move in) She told us we could go ahead and move in that the work would be completed ASAP (friday) We arrived on that Wednesday and they had torn out the entire fire place, there was no drywall in a HUGE section of the living room, no paint, the ceiling directly below looks like it could fall in at any moment, and there is a hole about 2-3’ long in the deck that my children could easily fall through and hurt themselves. There was also a issue with the water pump. That issue took them 2 weeks to finally have someone fix! It took them 3 weeks to have the locks fixed on the main entrance door. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to call you back! They did compensate for the first months rent, however they notified us they would adjust our monthly rent if it was not fixed by the first, we went by their office last Wednesday with the promise of a call on the rent being adjusted since they ripped out the fireplace and rented us this house under false pretenses... my husband called again this morning, got another ā€œI’ll call you backā€ answer... this house has been nothing short of a nightmare for us and for what we pay in rent we shouldn’t have to be living in a unfinished house! I will never again work with a rental company, as this has been absolutely horrible! We probably would be a little more understanding if I wasn’t due to have a baby in 3 weeks, and Partners would actually handle business instead of blowing us off at every chance they got!

Our contract with Partners Real Estate to manage our property started smoothly---and went completely down hill from there. They rarely answer their phones, they do not respond to service request, and are the opposite of timely.

It is currently snowing and our tenants have not had heat for the past FOUR days. The tenants called Partners Real Estate multiple times and did not receive a response. We had to call them multiple times each day to try and get the heat fixed--to which they eventually wanted us to do all the home warranty work ourselves... After four days, I finally got on the phone with our home warranty company AGAIN, to do the job we pay Partners Real Estate to do for us---and I was informed that the claim to fix the broken boiler had just been filed 10 minutes ago.

Partners Real Estate then proceeded to lie to me about when the claim was filed, saying it had been done as soon as the issue was brought to their attention, as I had both parties on the phone. I understand that people are busy, but I do not tolerate being lied to.

Do not waste your time. It is easier to manage your own property than jump through these hoops.

Brandon helped us buy our home 5 years ago, which was a seamless and easy experience as first-time home buyers. Fast forward to this spring, Brandon provided us a current market analysis, visited our home to suggest any work that would need to be done, and listed our home as soon as we were ready a few weeks later. It sold on the first showing! I attribute much of that to the small improvements he suggested we make (replace the 12-year-old carpet and touch up trim paint) and the fair, yet competitive pricing of the house. The process from that point was great - Brandon was on top of the selling agent who was dragging his feet on some things and was incredibly helpful when we found we’d need to replace our furnace. Would definitely recommend working with Brandon to buy or sell a home!

Under previous management(Brandon) this company was going down hill fast. Ken and has partner purchased and are turning it around.
They handled my rental property and then helped sell it.
I have purchased/sold multiple homes and always have had issues with realtors screwing up paperwork or under valuing property, have their best interests not mine.
Ken handled the sale 100% and took care of all issues promptly and helped eliminate stress. I will use Partners for my next home.

We met Terry and Kim when viewing a home for rent by Partners a few years ago. They were friendly and informative so we reached out when we decided to buy and needed a realtor. We worked with Kim to find our new home and she was always prompt to respond, accommodating with scheduling, and listened to what we wanted. I hate working with salespeople because you feel pressured to buy which makes me run for the hills. I never felt this way with Kim. It felt more like working with a friend who just happened to be a realtor. I really can't say enough good things about our experience!!!

Lengthy review, but I hope to prevent others from experiencing the same problems with a future rental.

When I first ventured into an agreement with Partners, Rolf was the owner/manager. Rolf since retired and passed the business to Brandon. Since I was still living outside of Alaska as that transition took place, I left my property in the care of Partner's Real Estate. At this point I deeply regret that decision.

My property was a rental with Partners Real Estate for 7 years. During that time, I was able to come up every year to check-in on my property, but due to my schedule at my last job I was not able to come up within the past 2 years. It is during those last 2 years that I feel the damage was done.

Partners Real Estate was given a month notice that I would be returning to my property. On my arrival and first walk through it was obvious between the dented garage door, junk left behind in the garage, all garage lights to include garage door overhead out/not working, dirty carpets, filthy bathrooms, mysteriously repainted living room ceiling (yes, this damage was verified by a reconstruction company), Scentsy oil wax damage to walls/bedroom doors, broken door stoppers, missing freeze detector and broken blind that my property was not taken care of in the way I would have expected it to be. I know if I was looking for a place to rent, I would not have rented my property based on the condition it was left in by my last tenants.

When I called Brandon, he appeared to have a nervous laugh, which did not bode well for me feeling that this issue was being taken seriously. He did send over a staff member Bianca to go over the problems at my property and during this time she tried to tell me well the property is 10 years old and we can't get the stains out of the carpet. I informed her that it was obvious the carpets were never washed due to furniture indentations still clearly evident and judging by the body fluids/body hair left behind in the bathrooms I doubted the property had been cleaned at all. She was apologetic, but proceeded to say "thank you for not yelling", which makes me wonder how many other properties this company is managing have been left in the same or worse shape than mine.

Partner's did have the carpet cleaners come back out and redo the carpets, the cleaners they resent out to the property even stated that the carpets were never washed and as far as the cleaning went it definitely was not detailed from their perspective. In regards to the broken blind, Partners did cover the cost of that repair so I will give them that credit. However, I do not appreciate being given an ultimatum in regards to other repairs.

Brandon appeared to be more upset about a negative review for his company than setting things right with my property. Below is the excerpt in email I received:

"The issue with the garage door is a bit more complex, in that the door is cosmetic and not actual 'damage' that makes the door inoperable, therefore, I can not charge the tenant for that. I did get an estimate to have the garage panel replaced and it would cost approximately $600. Our reputation is very important in our community where we live and work. This being an isolated incident, and an unfortunate one, if you could please remove the verbiage in the Google comment that was posted regarding myself and Partner's Real Estate, and make a commitment to me that it will not happen again in any format, I would like to go ahead and purchase and install the garage door for you at our expense."

If Partners Real Estate had truly wanted to make things right, they would have repaired all damages without the above ultimatum, and if it had been managed appropriately my property would not have been left in this mess. I am disappointed that my job did not allow me the opportunity to come up to Alaska over the past couple years, thus catching or preventing the damage that occurred by the most recent tenants. I am unable to recommend Partner's Real Estate for any rental property management at this time.
