Called to see if O'Neil & Steiner would be a good fit for my start up business, as well as, am I a good fit for them. I was told I need to pay $200 (or $300) for a consult. I asked if we can check for a good fit before I spend money and was told NO.

So I recapped, "I can give you $200 or $300 just for you to tell me I not a good fit for you, thank you for you're $, have a good day" and was told YES.

I'm obviously not going to spend 1 penny until I know I'm getting value for my money.

Also, the message I'm taking away from this experience is O'Neil & Steiner work for the dollar and not the customer.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I'm not sure how else to take that.

To be fair, it's possible the young lady I spoke with, simply didn't understand why I wanted to make sure this was the right place before I spend money.
