This is a review about a Karolina Bil who also lets out apartments in Miami on airbnb. Because of the following, I couldn't write a review on airbnb so I have taken the liberty of researching Karolina to discover she works at Sotheby's.

Karolina masquerades as a "superhost" on airbnb and likewise has plenty of self-glorified statements about her "customer service" on her website however my experience of this highly unprofessional and dishonest individual is a completely different reality.

In August 2023 I booked an apartment in Miami via her airbnb advert and send her a message to ask about the check-in procedure. The booking was for December 2023 for myself, my wife and kids. She never responded. I tried to make contact with her several times and when there were just 3 weeks remaining, I called her only to be met with a rude response as to why I was calling her and that I should Whatsapp her instead. I then proceeded to Whatsapp Karolina, only to be told that the apartment I had booked was no longer available yet the booking still showed confirmed on airbnb. She had not informed myself or airbnb. She then advised me she has another apartment available in the same block but was now almost double the price!

After much back and forth I decided I wanted to find another apartment as I had lost trust in her and would have to pay more due to it being so close to our check-in date. Karolina said she will cancel the booking and give me a full refund. She never did. She kept lying that she has cancelled the booking, however I had to contact airbnb customer support several times to eventually have them override her and cancel the booking. Karolina kept asking me to cancel the booking but the booking terms meant I would lose 50% of the total cost of the booking since it was well after 48 hours since I had made the booking back in August. She blatantly refused to cancel to the booking, wanted me to keep the booking on airbnb but was offering me a lesser apartment for the same price. She breached airbnb's terms and conditions whereby they were charging her a $350 penalty which she refused to accept, despite being at fault and putting myself through so much headache and time on phone calls to airbnb support and Whatsapp messages to her.

She doesn't give a damn about customers only money, so stay my advice is stay clear of her at all costs!
