Hi guys I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts about Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union where I have been a member for over 10 years.

Throughout my time here, I have consistently experienced outstanding customer service. The staff truly embodies the meaning of caring and appreciation for their customers. Each interaction I have had has been pleasant, and it is evident that they prioritize customer satisfaction.

It's refreshing to encounter such dedicated professionals who genuinely enjoy helping members. I believe their efforts contribute significantly to the positive atmosphere at our credit union.

Thank you for fostering such a fantastic team, and I look forward to continuing my relationship with the credit union for many more years.

My grandmother has been a member of this bank for as long as I can remember. She recently had a stroke and my mother took over full care of her. Now this bank has it in their head that they are helping my grandmother by not releasing her funds for her care after security procedures were placed to stop her abuser from taking her money. This place is a joke. They are not for their customers!

Had banked here before to use shared banking and never had a problem and then today suddenly the teller with the undercut "couldn't verify" my drivers license. Was treated like I was criming for trying to deposit a check while queer. Recommend going anywhere else instead of here where you have to play bigot roulette with the tellers and managers.

This office is NOT SAFE for LGBT people. They denied my friend's valid, legal ID and would not deposit a check for him because he is transgender. QUEER PEOPLE: DO NOT USE THIS BANK.

The woman I dealt with was dismissive and ignorant to military and wouldn’t accept my military ID as a valid form of ID. Went to a different FCU who had no problems with my military ID and said this bank shouldn’t have turned me away.
Will no longer do any business with this bank.

My relative had issues with this place today, tellers and manager ARE RUDE, WILL SMIRK N YOUR FACE, TAKES THEIR TIME IN CONTINUING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION BEFORE THEY HELP OUT A CUSTOMER, DOES NOT SPEAK TO YOU IN PRIVATE IN AN OFFICE LIKE REAL PROFESSIONALS DO, HAS BAD ATTITUDES & TAKES STUFF PERSONAL.... MANAGER IS UNPROFESSIONAL & NEEDS TO GROW UP, has no business managing anything and is a huge LIAR.... You will reap what you sow.... I don't recommend doing business with this place to anybody, is a joke

So I was a member of this credit union

Back in 2012 we opened an account. We had saving checking a credit card and a personal loan. I had a horse accident in June 30th 2016. I didn't die, obviously, but broke vertebrates pelvic bone and had a brain bleed and concussion. Not their fault, and they made sure I knew it was

not. Yes I had medical documentation So I missed payments and ended up messing up my account there..

Fast forward to now I am refi in and wanted to clean

up went wrong.

I walked in and started at the counter

She said my account was still open I owed 5.00 So I thru out a 5 dollar bill and ok what now. She tried to post it and said the account was locked ok now?

She pointed to the cubicle where you sit and have

conversations

So I walked in told her everything

She picked up the phone. 40 minutes later, she finally handed me the phone. Now i am speaking to a hood rat.I find out I can not pay them the account was charged off and sold to a debt collector. Ok so I can't pay you Northrup. "No." Ok can I get something stating the debt has been charged off and is no longer in your possession. "No." Ok Why? Well because you still owe us.
Northrop Grumman....

Again No reasonable explanation for anything she is saying.

Well you still owe us.

I now owe the debt collector

Well it's our debt. But I can't pay you. "No."

2 hours later

The hood rat on the phone in the last bit of the conversation changes what needed to be done.

Now I can pay them. Now it's twice as much as the amount that I was told for the last 2 hours.

Make the check out to me.

Mind you, I walked in with the intent of clearing up

what had gone wrong years ago. I walked out looking over my shoulder to see if there was a thug waiting to break one of my legs.

*THIS POST IS RELATED TO THE BRANCH, ONLY; NOT THE COMPANY AS A WHOLE.* Been a member since 2015. I am pleased with the service I have received from this location. The tellers and personal bankers are all friendly, professional, and courteous. The branch manager (Tracy?) is fantastic. The only reason that I gave them 4/5 stars is because of the wait times (up to 25 mins at a time), and the main detractor is that they don't have a machine on hand to create debit cards. The debit card issue is a huge concern of mine because corporate NGFCU will shut your card off out of nowhere when detect fraud and then you are screwed until the new card arrives. I once waited 2 weeks for a new card to be mailed to me.
