I am leaving North Country and establishing somewhere else. I cannot get in to get care in a timely fashion. When an established patient needs to be seen she should not have to wait over 30 days. I tried every day for a sooner appt and just could not get in to be seen. People need care and should not have to wait that long.

I was in the office yesterday. Gladys who should be at least somewhat professional was sitting there with NO smile and NO greeting. Had her single braid sticking straight up. Seriously, that is professional! The non existing smile and greeting is getting out of hand.
It's discouraging for me. Losing faith in this facility.

Doctors are great, but the two giant people that help you with your bill and make appointments are not very nice people. I’d give it a zero stars, but I don’t have that option.

Ugh this place SUCKS! I have more words that I wish I could say but I would get kicked off for those words. This facility doesn't actually care about their patients. Myself, my husband and my mother have all had difficulties with referrals. The time they are able to get you in for an appointment is an absolute joke and disappointment. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. My patience is done and gone with them. It's a classic facility that cares about the money and not good ol fashioned patient care. 👎

I am not one to leave reviews, but I think it is for the greater good that people know what really goes on at this establishment. I have been a patient with North County at this location for about 2 ish years now. Every single time I have made an appointment here, I have a different doctor. The turn out rate is INSANE for a doctors office!! I have seen the same doctor two times at a maximum the whole time I’ve been a patient here. They are constantly leaving or getting fired. For the most part, the ladies at the front have been nice as well as a few of the nurses. Until today. I called to ask if I could schedule a same day appointment as I have felt a decline in my health the last few weeks and have had various illnesses. I guess I had like.. 2 symptoms of COVID and I was interrogated TWICE on the phone about my symptoms. When I initially called, I was told they had one opening today and I said I’d take it if it was the only option available. I was told “well you could always go to the urgent care!” …is it so wrong to call my PRIMARY DOCTORS OFFICE for treatment? not everyone wants to wait 3+ hours at the urgent care just to be dismissed like those people at those offices do. they don’t have my medical history either so.. what is so wrong with calling my doctors office When I arrived at my appointment, the nurse was ok but sounded very annoyed with me. Of course they automatically assume I just have Covid, they gave me a test, and what do you know i don’t have it. but the real cherry on top of my visit today was my new doctor. She was completely dismissive, did not listen to my concerns, and had a NASTY ass attitude the entire time. as if she didn’t believe anything i had said to her. she did her obligatory lung/breathing check, and i asked her if i could get a full blood work up because i truly feel like there is something wrong with me. she said “i guess we can” she then grabbed all her stuff and stormed out of the room without saying anything further to me. the nurse came back with an order for an x-ray, which i am confused on why i would need one? and then i looked at the blood work ordered and there was practically nothing on it. they then told me to get my blood drawn and do the x-ray the same day and come back 3 days later. i told them that i don’t live in lake havasu and i live 45 minutes away. they didn’t care. the lady who drew my blood was rude too. UNBELIEVABLE how anyone thinks it is okay to treat patients like that and dismiss them so blatantly. if you don’t like people, DONT WORK IN HEALTHCARE!!!! Joselyn Branchik, the dr I saw today, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself and your piss poor bedside manner. find a different profession. i will be switching offices immediately.

Recently I saw Renee Nelson and Ashley Powell both are absolutely excellent providers. I have been at North Country for years and I think they are the best two providers that I've ever had. I would especially like to commend Ashley for how thorough she is when addressing all of my many Healthcare concerns. She is really excellent, very efficient and doesn't leave things out. If she says she will call in a prescription for you it's done that day if not within 30 minutes of your visit to the office. She's pretty wonderful I'm glad I had an opportunity to tell you about her. Renee I've been seeing for quite some time and she is extremely helpful. I have bipolar disorder and she is an excellent support person for me as is Michael. I have never really had such an exceptional team taking care of me before. I just wish we had the necessary Professionals in Havasu for treating my conditions that I could be referred to when I need other kinds of care. Thank you for sending me the questionnaire I appreciate that you want to know how your staff is doing and I am very happy with how your staff is doing.

I have taken my kids to North Country since 2008 when we first moved to Havasu. At this visit like every other visit Dr. Colleen, Gale, and all the other staff that assisted us at this visit did an amazing job. Dr. Colleen is very patient and genuinely cares for her patients. She takes the time to listen to both the parent and child. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else. North Country goes above and beyond in providing quality care.
