They definitely need more locations. On the weekends, only one ATM be working when it’s 3. It’s such an inconvenience knowing this branch is huge. Parking area already small. It shouldn’t be no reason there’s 10 people standing in line to use one ATM when there’s 2 more but they don’t work. On the weekends, the drive thru ATM doesn’t accept deposits. This really about me to make my close my account and bank elsewhere because this is an ongoing issue with Navy Federal.

I came in today to set up my mobile banking account and debit card. Rebekah helped me with all of it and let me know all about the app and how to change things if needed. She was very nice and professional. It was a 10-20 minute wait due to them remodeling the inside and that was expected. It was a good bit of people waiting when I first walked in and the staff cleared everyone out pretty quickly so shoutout to them! The staff was very friendly to me as well.

Always slow. Got rid of the drive through lanes. So now you either wait in line for an ATM machine that will most likely be broken or in a long line for 3 tellers.

My brother passed away in January 2023. It was under suspicious circumstances. So, the police were called to his residence. My daughter went through paperwork to become Administrator of the Estate. My brother had his house financed through Navy Federal Credit Union in Montgomery. My daughter stayed in constant contact with Navy Federal Credit Union to let them know the circumstances and that we did not have a death certificate. During each communication she asked the person on the phone whether we needed to make a payment on the account and they always told her no. We live in another city and I was going by my brother's house to pick up the mail. I noticed that the mail was not coming in. So, I contacted the Post Office. They had discontinued delivering my brother's mail because it was rumored in the neighborhood that he was deceased. My daughter completed the paperwork to have the mail delivered to her. She then gets a call from a real estate appraiser that he needs to get in the house to appraise it due to foreclosure. We never got any correspondence about it being late or in foreclosure. We paid to get it out of foreclosure and have kept the payments current. Last bill we get it has a $1,000 fee added to it. She was told that it was a maintenance fee for sending someone to the house to see if it is occupied for the months of August, September, October, November and December 2023. My daughter told them no they knew my brother was deceased. The credit union rep told her that the fee was before he passed away. She told them no he passed away in January. My daughter told her we would not pay the fee. She said that's alright it will just be added to the end of the note. My fear is that when she pays this month's payment, they will apply it to the maintenance fee and try to foreclose again.

Worst experience ever in my 30 years of dealing with Navy Federal Credit Union. Went in the branch today. This was not my first time using my sons card to deposit money into his minor account. Yet today after I waited in line for 30 minutes I got there at 4:20. I didn’t get seen until 10 minutes before five. As Naomi and Amber seem to have issues with the two customers they were seeing. Management allowed the line to grow to at least 15 more members behind me. When Amber finally called me up, I swiped my son’s card to his minor account and gave her $280 in cashto deposit in set account. Amber went further to tell me that I couldn’t use my minor son’s card to make a deposit. I was Baffled, so I asked to speak to the manager, the branch manager who is standing directly behind Amber doing this transaction the manager jumped in and informed me that she would finish it. WHAT SHE DID WAS FREEZE MY SONS CARD AND ACCOUNT. Long story short CORPORATE MADE THEM ISSUE THE CARD AND TAKE THE FREEZE OFF THE ACCOUNT. Crazy thing is that Navy Federal Credit Union is currently being sued for mistreating African-American customers on top of that. Most of the employees are also African-American. It’s obvious they do not like their job and have been disenfranchising customers for a while. I thank God for customer service online because of it wasn’t for them. The nameless branch manager would have frozen my son’s Christmas money just to be a bully that is not professionalism. She has anger issues and most of her staff do as well. Everyone is listed down in the pictures except for Naomi. She’s the rudest of them all.

They are ALWAYS understaffed in Montgomery!! ATMs will NOT take cash deposits unless the bills are brand new crisp, and if you go in the branch there are several ppl in line and 1 or 2 tellers (one of which is also working the drive-thru), if you go through the drive through it takes 20-30 minutes! Do better NFCU!

I don’t understand how there is 3 atms and only one seems to work everytime you go, and somehow the drive through atm never accepts deposits

Online banking lacks so far behind the others, go with capital One or USAA. I will say, when you are FINALLY able to talk to someone, they are nice and knowledgeable, again when you get to talk to someone.
