I have always loved Sunday River - I grew up skiing there throughout my childhood and college years. When it came time to think about buying a home there, I thought I knew the place fairly well and that I could use any broker to guide me. I was WRONG. After unproductive calls with a few brokers I luckily found Susan's name, and things happened quickly after that. She knows this mountain and area inside and out, she is well-connected to the ownership and management of the mountain, and she truly knows what is going to happen before it happens. She listened to our needs and guided us toward a lower-priced option (how many brokers do that?) that she thought had potential - and then connected us to a contractor to realize her vision, which was spot on. I give her all of the credit for positioning us perfectly on the mountain, and also creating optionality for us to grow into a new home in Glades by offering consistent foresight and advice. Susan is much more than a broker for me - a true trusted partner - I bounce every idea I have off of her, and I can count on her candor and responsiveness. She has also been our eyes and ears at Sunday River when we are not there, and I cannot thank her enough for all of the support. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Susan DuPlessis and would absolutely recommend her. In our case, she happened to also represent the sellers of the condo we were interested in, and she did so very fairly. The details and timing of purchasing a home can be stressful, but Susan was always very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Susan always made time for us, and she didn't mind at all that our 8 year old son was always along for the ride. On top of her qualifications, she is a very down-to-earth and affable person, which made the whole experience a lot of fun--we would recommend Susan and would happily work with her again ourselves!

I cannot say enough good things about Susan when my fiancé and I we’re ready to buy our first home Susan was definitely my go to women! we had no idea what we were doing at first Susan guided us the entire way, after searching for months (or which felt like it anyways) to find exactly what we were looking for we finally found the perfect house, during the house hunting period we started getting house hungry we would have talked ourselves into Settling pretty much for anything but Susan would never have let that happen she was determined that she would help us find the right fit and in our price range. she wanted to make sure we were going to be OK seeing we were just starting out and it was our first house and did not want us to get over our heads and she did! 1) She is a polished professional -- genuine, personable and impressively knowledgeable about real estate and everything else that has to do with properties and homeownership. Her communications are consistently prompt and replies are thoughtful and thorough. Although she is extremely busy, she makes herself available with undistracted attention so you feel as if your search is the only thing she is working on at the time.
2) Susan has great intuition about people and their needs. Property searches are very individual and personal. She facilitates without pressure and without judgment. She truly wants you to find the perfect fit, so she provides just enough guidance and introduces new ideas that help new buyers make even better decisions and ultimately find what is perfect for them.
3) In my case, Susan was a sellers broker; however, she handled the situation with openness and fairness such that both seller and buyer were well represented. She was a perfect moderator. The purchasing process was efficient, accurate and any questions were addressed immediately. She does a great deal of work herself to minimize burden on the buyer and seller.
4) Susan is well-connected with surveyors, electricians, plumbers, inspectors, cleaners, locksmiths and everyone else who might be needed to get new homeowners settled in.
