Don't expect fast service even if you tell them it's time sensitive. They blew a deal for me due to long response time & inability to schedule an appointment in a timely manner.

One star review by default. This place is terrible, please check the bbb website with 42 complaint of which most are fraud complaints. They cater to lower income people by offering decent rates but have terrible customer service. I don’t bank there but I was working on a car sale where the owner of the car had their car loan here. They act as if they are better than everyone else and kept saying that’s their policy. Their policies are so far outdated. All in all, this credit union ruined the deal and I walked away. First I had a certified cashiers check from Wells Fargo and they claimed that there is no such thing as a certified cashiers check. The lady that told me that was then asked in return from me if she knew what a cashiers check is? She said yes and then snobbishly laughed at me like I didn’t. Next the lobby was full of people waiting to see a banker, yet two bankers were sitting in their offices with doors closed, talking on their cell phones.. when we finally went into a bankers office 2 hours later, they said they couldn’t release the lien for 7-10 days to see if my cashiers check clears. I had just recently bought another vehicle for my wife with a completely different experience. My cashiers check was verified with my bank that day and the bank electronically released the lien in less than 10 minutes, not 7-10 days. I was not going to purchase a vehicle that did not have a clear title. They tried to encourage me to go get cash and bring it to their bank. That was it, I walked out.

Mesa Branch is awesome. Avoid this branch as I've been here an hour while two bankers, one teller and Manager Riley told me I needed an appointment as I sit and watch a banker and Riley conduct a 30 minute meeting. If I knew I needed an appointment I would have made one. Mesa, you just walk in, wait your turn and get handled.

The loan process was was very difficult. In all fairness they approved the loan quickly. However, the person I bought the vehicle from was expecting the cheque and the loan officer failed to Send it on time. I requested a tracking number, and they gave me the runaround. A wire transfer would have been a better alternative. Anyhow, the cheque was not sent on the date I was told. I ended up having to call the seller and apologize for the inconvenience.
