I love this place and highly recommend Mountain America Credit Union. These people have feeling and and offer help. There security is strong to make sure it you and not a thief portraying you. And they seem to always go beyond to make sure you arent missing anything . Listen that takes a lot of calm and patience to do a job. But to actually care about doing the best job. For both the employer and customer . Well that comes from the employee and company . They offer a lot. I am really happy with them.

They attach these hidden extra charges on vehicle loans. I called over a year ago to cancel it and I thought it was all taken care of. Fast forward a year and I’ve been getting charged $60 dollars a month. They say they can’t refund any of the charges. Check all your loans with them to make sure this doesn’t happen to you.

And when to the branch and deposit my checks. I was able to do everything the same day all because this people are efficient and covenant

I was referred to Mountain American Credit Union by a friend and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I was looking to open a personal loan and refinance my car and Ashley made the experience incredible for me. It was much less stressful that I anticipated. She was professional, friendly, and made the process as seamless as possible for me.

Paid on time for 38 months... paid off my car to sell it to someone else. It takes them 14 days to release a lien.... Very hard to get in touch with anyone who has real answers... wont use them again

This review is going to be forwarded to local news agencies and hopefully spread throughout social media.. I have two issues with this company. The first is I have been a victim of selective enforcement and was not allowed a service that has been allowed by others (people I know). And it was the Branch Manager who enforced it. The second issue is fraudulent transactions on my account..

I have only been with Mountain America Credit Union since December 2023 .. since then my main checking account has been compromised 3 times with fraudulent transactions.. I’ve never had issues with other banks with fraud.. let alone 3 times in less than a year.

As far as the selective enforcement… It seems so trivial because all I wanted was some coins.. $100 in nickels .. They said they didn’t have any for “me”. I had gotten some from them a few weeks earlier .. and maybe a month before that as well.. Anyway they said they didn’t have enough and they only order so much.. I then asked if I could order some.. which I personally know people who have ordered coins from MACU .. After I made that request, the teller was clearly caught off guard and paused for a second.. She then went into the Branch Manager’s office for about 10 mins.. when she returned she said only business account owners could order coins.. I told them that I knew people who ordered coins here, and said I could down the road to CHASE BANK and fill my request without even being a member..

The Branch (Manager) with I have his card and won’t post his name (yet). Made it a point to enforce a policy selectively on ME !!

At this point, I don’t even feel welcome at that location.. and there aren’t many around..

I have a loan with the bank or I’d leave them completely.. In the meantime I will be opening an account at a different bank and keep my contact with MACU to a minimum.

In the meantime, this will be sent out to various media outlets.. and I may even look into litigation.. So frustrating and belittling at the same time..

I’ve been a big bank customer most of my life but I’m finally free of big banks and a loyal customer of MACU. This branch is my local branch and I frequently do my business here. I have been in 7 or so times over the last 6 months and every time I go, I am always impressed at the high level of customer service, the knowledge of each rep and their recommendations for other ways I can save money. This is night and day from the past bank visits which were usually annoying, long and often unhelpful. I was there last week with a list of four things I needed to accomplish. Scott was my teller and he walked me through each request and got me on my way in a quick and efficient manner. More proof that MACU is unlike other financial institutions and a gem for anyone looking for a new bank. I highly recommend MACU and this branch in particular. Everyone here is awesome and I know you’ll have a great experience if you check them out. Thank you, Scott, for your help! See you next time!

Makenna was incredible with answering all questions and helping us with our loan. She’s the kind of worker that makes us always love going to MACU. She made sure we got the best rate, and sped up the process even though we didn’t have an appointment. Would recommend anyone goes here.
