Even by insurance agency standards, this place is absolutely awful. Signed a policy with Christen Scanlon years ago who was great and always available to talk. I had a condo and auto policy for over a year since Monique took over and I've never talked to her. Not once. Try and call the office number before signing a policy to see how impossible it is to get someone on the phone. If you have a wreck or are injured, forget about it. Just go with a cheaper option that also isn't going to be able to contact in an emergency.

Edit: In response to Monique, I also had an Allstate service rep try and get in touch with someone at the office and they were also unable to. I canceled my policy by email (because they require written notice) and a week later I find out they never canceled it because I was charged $616 automatically in error. So no, they're responsiveness is very poor.

Monique Thomas-Wayne is the best. Things are very tough right now in the California insurance market, with people, including myself, being dropped left and right. Despite the challenges and obstacles in finding affordable homeowner's coverage in the Oakland Hills, Monique put in the time and effort to get me an Allstate quote and explain it to me thoroughly, including the pros and cons when compared with the California FAIR Plan. Truly, she is in this for her clients' benefit and not her own personal gain.
