I am so grateful for Dr. Lin
I have never spoken with a psychiatrist who is as attentive and informative as he is. He listens to my concerns and what I want out of my life, he asks questions and provides constructive advice, and then I feel as though we work together on maintaining or updating my medication. He always explains to me what to expect from a certain medication including side effects, how they'll interact with my other medications. I feel like he actually does want to help me improve my mental health rather than just throw medications at me like spaghetti against a wall.

Doctors don't seem to care about patients. They just refer you to different doctors. I couldn't get help with alcoholism or my ADHD. They just throw Wellbutrin at you. No real sleeping medication, just psyche meds which don't help with sleep. This review is about Dr. Minda Lin

I was able to talk about all of my issues, didn't feel judged, and felt great after my session. Highly recommend this place. Plus, they take Medi-Cal so you can receive quality help even if you can't afford it normally like myself.

Everyone in the office has been incredibly kind and helpful so far. I very much appreciate their patience and willingness to work with me on making the experience as positive as possible. I've only had the one visit with my doctor so far, but she was also very nice and encouraging. She didn't rush me and helped me through the hardest parts of our conversation. I really appreciate the way the whole team has navigated helping me.

Update: I've had another appointment now, and my review absolutely still stands. Dr. Deshmukh is a wonderfully kind doctor, and I feel very comfortable and confident in her hands. She made sure I was comfortable with medication adjustments, and was so positive and encouraging with my progress so far. I'm very happy to have found her, and I feel confident she will help me achieve my goals.

Dr Minda Lin began the appointment by screening for bi-polar, and I need help with anxiety. The whole appointment was him trying to locate symptoms of bi-polar instead of listening to the recent events of my dad and his sister (my aunt) passing away 4 months ago. He had the guts to say that I should be over that by now and then said that my insomnia is possibly related to sleep apnea. I have struggled with sleep since my 20s and have never woke up gasping for air in my life. If I could rate him 0 stars, I would. I have been having anxiety attacks and this man neglected to help me with the issue at hand. He's a lousy doctor who had no compassion for my trauma and loss. I absolutely have NOTHING positive to say about the man.

They are awesome. From the pyschiatrist to the office staff. They return calls promptly and take care of whatever I'm facing when it comes to prescriptions. I would recommend them hands down

I have two special needs children on the spectrum. We left Kaiser Permanente and now we were part of anthem. I purchased my insurance through covered California. I pay almost $1000 a month for my children. Modesto Pediatrics gave me a form of psychiatrist and two of the doctors were listed. When I finally got through to mind path health. The representative was extremely rude to me. Condescending and controlling would not allow me to speak to anybody else and would not allow me to have services. Unfortunately, she said, even though I have anthem and it’s a PPO and it’s full coverage they cannot accept us because we adopted them and they have Medi-Cal is their secondary which in no way shape or form should not allow me to get services through them. I’ve been through this way for a very long time. Both of my children are 11 and 12. I’ve dealt with this before she would not listen to me she would not let me speak to anybody else. And I have just gone to hell since I left Kaiser trying to find somebody because both of my children are on medication on a daily basis and I need a psychiatrist. Needless to say the woman was traumatizing and rude and mean and I hung up the phone crying and frustrated. That’s not how a person should be treated with two special-needs children or any child of a parent who seeking help. Very disappointed.

Dr. Minda Lin is an incredibly compassionate and intelligent psychiatrist. He practices differently than other psychiatrists I’ve worked with in the sense that he doesn’t only treat mental health issues with repetitive medication changes, but takes a more holistic clinical approach and asks genuine questions in order to know how to best treat and support a patient. Mindpath Health’s billing department and front offices are easy and quick to get in touch with and very helpful over the phone. I would highly recommend this practice.
