Mike Scott Agency is so great to work with for both personal and business insurance. Jeannine works with Mike and is alway available to answer my questions and get me my last minute, urgent requests for certificate of insurances. she makes it so easy for me. They are always happy to review my policies with me and make any needed changes. I would highly recommend.

But I would also recommend against American Family. If you actually expect your home to be properly insured and to be able to recover your losses after a catastrophe, you don't want American Family. They charge premiums on an inflated replacement value (example: I paid $50,000 for my house years ago; replacement value on my insurance used to be $260,000. They finally lowered it to $181,000). I recently had several basement floods, and they don't even want to pay $25,000, despite the fact that the flood is covered up to $181,000--except that they are running up expenses for certain local businesses; they hired a shady contractor to cleanup the first time, and they didn't even get close to doing it properly. Am Fam delayed, and now there is mold, which requires air testing and a special cleanup protocol. Meanwhile, I already had lung problems, and the mold is making my breathing worse, and they could not care less. They have been stalling every step of the way. They also don't want to replace my AC because it was old. Accused me of "trying to get a new AC out of them." The AC was working fine before (the floods and the shady contractors who did a lot of damage). They are acting like I am trying to get over on them by expecting them to replace the AC. Like 5 inches of water would not have impacted it? Then Mike Scott accused me of lying about the mold and dust. I SENT PHOTOS OF BLACK MOLD AND DRYWALL DUST. THICK DRYWALL DUST. They are lying about a lot of things. They don't even care how much evidence that there is that they are lying. Very scary.

It is late at night. I will edit this later. But it is all true. This and much, much more. Maybe they treat some people properly, but they have
been bad to the point of cruelty to me. Really, a lot of cruelty.

I have always experienced a high degree of professionalism and responsiveness with this agency, ever since I made the switch several years ago. Plus, Mike and his team are very personable and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

My family had used this group for almost a decade for insurance and we went to get a homeowners policy and were interrogated about our dog (who is a rescue mutt). We were continually pressed to name a breed and when we said terrier mix they said they don't insure vicious dogs. Get out of the dark ages Mike Scott- mutts are mutts. For the decades myself and my family have had renters or homeowners insurance policies through numerous other companies we have never once been questioned about a dog. Buyer beware- this company is ignorant and does not insure on normal terms.
