I just wrapped an Independent Feature and I can tell you, Insurance was extremely important. Nick Pursel and MFE were amazing to work with! They answered calls when I needed them and I did on several occasions. Their policy got me equipment and locations with no problems due to their reputation. And Nick advised me on what I needed and what I didn't need. Supporting my project while keeping my costs down. Thanks MFE for protecting my cast, crew, and production. We did it!

Used to be great but really declined in the last years. Kat and Alec were amazing but I would no longer recommend MFE.

If you like to overpay for policies (in my case by about 200%) and have unreliable communication this might your place - otherwise look elsewhere.

Daniel and Alec at MFE were more than a dream to deal with.

As someone who is no insurance expert thrown into a difficult and *very* time sensitive ordeal, they couldn't have been more patient, kind, reassuring and extremely prompt through the entire process. Given the state I was communicating with them in (sheer panic 🙃) I would also throw non-judgemental into that list as well.

If you are looking for assistance with FilmLA permits, or I have to imagine - literally anything else, these are your people.

They made sense of the mess I brought them, tidied it up and put a bow on in it, in an extremely tight turnaround. Forever grateful!

I would give MFE more than 5 stars if it allowed for it. They are amazing and awesome! They use A-rated insurance companies and undercut all other pricing out there. Plus Alec and Kat are very hands on to help with odd challenges and also to explain intricacies of confusing issues with respect to workers comp (in particular). I cannot say enough about them.
